I have a very difficult time calling anything final, but after several months of work, I can now say that the script for Episode 10 is complete.  It's 27 pages long with seven scenes.  I predict it's going to be at least 20 minutes long.  It has every beat that I was looking for and progresses the story to exactly where I wanted to take it.

I have now started disseminating the script to the voice actors that have already been cast.  The coming weeks will be about collecting lines and casting for all of the new roles.

Thank you SO much for your contributions this month.  The added funds have allowed me to offer monetary compensation for the casting call I just put out.  Hopefully this will help attract better voice talent on this project for all the new characters.  "Guardian" especially, needs to have a talented actor behind him in order for the character to work.

If you or anyone you know is an interested voice actor, here is the open casting call: https://voiceacting.boards.net/thread/3897/starter-squad-episode-10-audtions

Now the real work begins.  I'm glad this huge project has a proper budget now.  In the very least, I'm now going to be able to hire more of an animation staff to take the load off of me.  I intend to release this before the end of the year, and if I continue to push, we'll get this done and get it done right.

Since it is now past the first of the month, here is the current standing for "Top Donors" as listed in the Patreon Rewards:

DarkHenrikGonzalo Malaga CardozaSyrus CoyBrandonNauel Octavio TejadaSno Comics   Benny Yau  Earoist   Ryan Fleck  Charles HoskinsDreux Ferrano Jr.

I am eternally grateful for your support and will continue to do everything I can to make this episode great.

20 minutes? You sure this isn't actually 2 episodes? Also: *return whence you came/return from whence you came

Great! I'll post it there too. If that's what you used for The Lost Wolves, it seems to offer great results.

Right? Weird to think that the first episode was a minute and a half. The episode distinctions seem to now be more about story points than length. Also: I'm now very glad I took out a majority of old English in his speech and mostly just peppered it in. His speech pattern is a funky amalgam of old and new. I'm focused way more on what sounds fitting than what's technically correct, though I may do a take with "return whence". I'm never going to be able to get words like "whither" to sound correct in the context of most of what this character says.

What would be funny is if he just spoke in incorrect old English. It might be taking a bit of attention away for a gag, but having the guy just speak like a 15 year-old trying to impress someone by very poorly trying to sound like Shakespeare would be a pretty funny character trait.

YaUhYeah

Love your work :D

Thanks for letting me know! I'm cool with this. I actually encourage people to dub the series into other languages so that the episodes can be enjoyed around the world.
