Episode 10 Update - 05/10/20 (Patreon)

Hi all - this week I’ve been working a lot with voices. 

So far, a total of 366 people have auditioned to play a character in this episode.  I don’t think I’ve ever had this many before.   I listen to every single one, too.   I got some really good ones this time.  A big chunk of people who auditioned are professional voice actors that have worked on games and television.  Narrowing it down to the final decision is going to be really tough.  Each character has at least 10 good choices going for it.   And there’s still an entire week left to audition!  

As for people that I have already cast beforehand, I have been doing live recording and directing sessions with throughout the week.  So far, my progress is as follows:

- 4 characters are being cast

- 3 characters are completely voiced and turned in

- 2 minor characters have their scripts, and I’m currently waiting for them to turn in

- 1 character is scheduled for a live directing session later this week

- 1 character (the lead role) is to be recorded last

For this episode, I have gathered the voices of the  creators of some of my favorite animated internet series to voice certain characters.  It is truly surreal hearing their voices all in one project, doing lines that I wrote, after I've been listening to their voices for so many years.   See if you can recognize them when the episode drops!  

Additionally, I have been corresponding with one of my animators to get a jump start on the animation work. Now that I have more funding this early on, I want to make sure to utilize him as much as possible to take the animation load off of me.  I plan on spending every single penny of the Patreon funding hiring help, and I have a lot to work with so far.   Once we get a little further in the process, and I’ve roughed out all the sequences, I plan on getting even more people on the animation team.  There are some neat action sequences this time, so I'm both excited and anxious for the work.

I have also been working a bit on the Show Bible for $10 Patrons. I really wanted it to be done by today, but it’s not quite finished yet. Hopefully, I’ll get you guys an updated version in the next few days. I’d really like to make being in that $10 tier worthwhile, and having stuff like the Show Bible and Easter Eggs up to date is really the least I could do. 

That’s all I have to report for now. I’m really happy that we’ve finally hit full production mode. Not having the script done was really killing me, and now I have concrete goals to work with. Thank you all.
