Hello friends,

Animation is going well.  I'm now knee deep in Scene "A" which turns out to be a 6 minute sequence altogether.  I've just finished a sort of "rough draft" of the complete sequence and it is now in a far more cohesive state than it's ever been.  The first half of "A" I intend to leave blocked out for additional animators, and the second half I intend to complete largely by myself.  The first half has come a long way since its first conception.  Constructing it continues to be a slow but interesting process, and will likely need even more hands on it in the coming weeks.

Yesterday, I reviewed the current draft of Scene B from a hired animator, and it looks to be completed soon.  So far they've been turning in excellent work, and afterwards, the same animator will be moving on to "A".  I'm excited to see how they'll handle the some of the action-packed bits.

I've also received several additional assets from hired modelers this week, and I'm pretty much set on assets for now.  I'll be revisiting the assets when we get to animating "Scene F", but now blocking out "F" is finally possible.  However, for the time being, keeping my focus on "A" for now will ensure the most efficient focus and productivity.  When the episode is in a more completed state, I'll be filling in details with the set and fine-tuning assets, but at this time, the budget is moving exclusively towards hiring out animation work.

Scene A is very spoiler heavy, and it is steadily going to become harder to produce screenshots of what I'm working on that make any sense.  I'll continue to try my best.  Needless to say, I am very excited finally getting to see all of this come together in a very tangible way.  So far, I have about half of the episode ingrained into my brain from watching and listening to it so much.   I both look forward to and dread the day when I'll be able to recite all the dialogue from memory.

Stuff is getting done, and I've not much else to say.  I love you all.  Thank you for supporting my work.

Cheers,

Shipp
