Was not expecting this tonight. Let's goo.

Gabriel DiLaurentis

Well now I know what I'm doing when I get home. My entertainment is set for this morning (I work overnight) 😊

Jesse Lee

We needed a palate cleanser after that redonk vampire movie 🤣 and this is perfect. This might be my favorite movie of the series.

Jonny

This one is great but to me the 3rd one is the best. Can't wait for that one

Mel

Wow now I can't wit to get into bed tonight, headphones in ready to watch this film. Life has been pretty dark for my family recently and this is going to get my through a pretty scary day! Thank you 🥰

KP

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssss! The third movie is when shit gets good. One more kid movie to go!

Jim Schmitz

Sleep?, who needs sleep when there're Octobers and Harry Potter? An early morning delightful surprise! Now I'm getting excited for Guardians 3, and Brooke's reaction. You did great with this one. Let the others give you some answers.

ImHigh Sorry

I read all these books in middle school and now im watching these movies for the first time with you guys and DANG they're good so far. So many good moments. I love the part where they all get the hogwarts letters at the weasley house.

Lisa - Marie

DOBBY!!!! I love Dobby! The next movie is my favourite in series though.

jenna marie

This one was my favorite as a kid! I love me a good monster and the fact that there’s a threat present throughout the whole book/movie.

jenna marie

We haven’t met my favorite character yet but out of the trio I like Ron the most. I feel like he has the most depth and I always love a goofball.

reactive1

The character list will be HUGE by the end of the series. It's fairly small right now. I guess since my name is Ron then Ron is my favorite.

hashpipe

"a long term old guy" is a wild way to say someone lived to an old age lmao

Loren

I really love this movie, but the next one is one of my absolute favorites. The best part of this series is that with each movie, you get to watch them grow up and you just can’t help but get attached. Ron is one of my favorite characters—even though there are a bunch more to come that are pretty special too. It’s hard to pick a favorite from the Golden Trio (Harry, Ron, and Hermione) because they’re all amazing in their own way. Can’t wait to see the next movies! (And to keep pretending I'm not way too invested in a bunch of wizards)

Julia Miala

My favorite character is called Bellatrix Lestrange and that’s all i’ll say for now☺️

TheOctobers

so sorry melanie! i hope everything works out for you! we are here if you need anything

hashpipe

also kind of depressing "fun" fact, the actress who played moaning myrtle was thirty seven at the time and is now fifty eight years old.

J-rad

This is the one I always skip. Weakest entry in the series, imo

Christian

So many great characters to pick from, I love Snape and then 2 characters you will meet next movie

Christian

I always skip the first one lol

J-rad

Yeah, once you know the world the first two are pretty disposable, although the first one holds a special place in us all I think. It was the first time we got to *see* all the things we’d been reading about for a while.

Brieanne

Amazing reaction...I grew up on Harry Potter and love the books and movies so much. It's so great to see other people experiencing them for the first time and I can't wait for 3 - 8! Aside from the main trio my favorite characters are Dobby and then one we haven't met yet, but I'll point out when we do. BTW, they are in the process of making a new Harry Potter TV show that is going to be on Max possibly sometime in 2026. Hopefully you guys can react to that eventually when it comes out! It'll be weird to have new actors play all these characters, but I am excited for them to be able to dive deeper into a lot of parts of the books that had to be left out of the movies due to time constraints. Can't wait for the Prisoner of Azkaban, thanks for all you do!

Mayday

I think the comparison of Voldemort to Hitler is a good one. Hitler believed in Aryan supremacy (blonde hair blue eyes), and those who weren’t Aryan (a.k.a. Jews) were inferior. But he himself didn’t have blonde hair or blue eyes. Voldemort seems to be all about pure-blood wizards, and believes half-bloods, and especially muggle-born, are inferior. But he revealed in this movie that his father was a muggle, so even he’s not pure-blood.

Peter K

This is the last one that ends 'heartwarming,' with the exception of the last movie. The first two movies were both directed by Chris Columbus, so they definitely seem similar in tone and pace. That is about to change, the next movie is real dark, and everyone after this one gets darker and more menacing. The third is nothing like you are imagining, you just got to let it draw you in, it is a pretty wild ride.

Brieanne

I would consider your first sentence a spoiler... I would encourage you to edit your comment to take it out or make it more vague.

Peter K

They have been told that it gets darker plenty of times, and they were already seeing it given what they think the next one is about. I disagree with your assessment.

Chad

The chamber of secrets is in the game also! In Hogwarts Legacy

Chad

Dobby wasn’t under a spell actually, wizards claim to enlave house elf’s to “civilize” them lol and elf’s unfortunately are naturally subservient, so they take advantage of that.

Brieanne

I was referring to the part about the last movie being heartwarming. It’s totally fine if you disagree, I just wanted to put it out there to consider. Thanks for doing so. I’m just hoping they get to watch the movies as unspoiled (if you didn’t read the books) as we all did the first time. I hope you know my comment was not malicious towards you 😃

Peter K

No problem Brieanne, but to be honest, the last movie is the darkest. Each really does ramp up the tension compared to the previous, even this one was darker than the first. So was I spoiling or misdirecting? I hope this confuses them nicely.

Billy Shields

I'm almost positive it's already been confirmed that Rowling used 1940s Germany and Nazism as her main inspiration for the "bad side" (since the movies haven't given them their name yet) if not than I heard it from someone that sure believes that but obviously even if it isn't there are still a lot of parallels

Josh Viz

The hair in 4 really tipped the scales on my favorite movie lol little kid me thought they looked so cool. Also you get Cedric and the Tri.W.T (trying to be vague for spoilers sake) and how it ends is just🤌🏼! Dang I'm getting excited to see it now

Steven Jump

I'm not a fan of spiders, so this is my least favorite movie of the series. The next 2 are my favorite films in the series. I would suggest to Mr October that he wear a baseball hat when he goes out. They will keep the sun out of your eyes as well keep your glasses dry when it rains.

Montana Bruce

Just finished the reaction, the first two movies are definitely more on the kid like side, but as they grow the movies grow with them and that’s the beauty of this franchise

Quinten Shibusawa

I always skip the first two. They just feel completely different in tone and style from the rest of the series. Good movies, but it's like I'm watching a different series.

Gio Bellisario

Just wait till the 3rd the castle looks way better bcuz the budget was bigger 🔥

Peter K

Some may call this a spoiler, but I remember everyone knew this before the 3rd movie dropped. The actor who played Dumbledore, Richard Harris, died after the second movie and he was played by a different actor in the rest of the movies. This is just a heads up for the O's that I do believe we all knew before we saw the third in theaters. I figure that if they know going in they can focus on the story instead of learning it by seeing a different Dumbledore and being surprised by it.

Echoes Of Malachor

Neville Longbottom, Samwise Gamgee and Samwell Tarley...the GOATED underdog trio

Mel

Hi guys, I'm so sorry, I though I'd replied to you but I guess not. I appreciate the lovely reply. My dad and husband are both in the process of having scans and now biopsies. Both have very high probability of prostrate cancer. I'm worried sick. I can't believe they're both going through the same thing. Fingers crossed it's treatable. Anyway, thank you again 🙏

K'Banj

Ron is one of my least favorite characters, and my favorite characters are (interchangeably) Snape and Draco!
