Our 1 year of the Octobers 2.0 is coming up and we HAVE to post on it to keep it!

We have never seen anime so we wanted to upload some to our other channel. We will post the uncuts over here as well. (on the 5 dollar tier)

Our main channel is the priority of course but we realized there are a lot of things on the anime side we have NEVER experienced.

We are starting with Attack on Titan. & will be recording these after we record for the main channel. So the main channel will NOT be affected by any means.

PS Comment one more anime show to get into for beginners because we want to keep 2 running.

We are BRAND new to this so....

omg to hear yall are doing anime is insane!! Demon Slayer is a must also, I will always recommend watching anime in Japanese, but that’s my opinion

Judo

Avatar the last air bender deff has to be in rotation 🙏🏾

Josip Buretić

I am not so into anime but I am happy for everyone else who love those ✌🏻😁

Jesse Lee

I voted not dubbed because I've seen reactors go through so much drama on the YouTube side because people rage against dub. I don't watch anime so I'm just reporting my anecdotal experience.

Johnny Soul

As much as people are gonna say Sub I believe it a better experience for you and the reactions to go for dub. I personally watch both because Sub usually drops first but Subs tends to give away shock value because you can end up reading ahead of the dialogue and just in my opinion it kinda kills some of the mouth drops but I will watch whatever version you guys decide!

Xmrtehe

Naruto would be awesome

Flexorcist

Im not into anime, but i think the community absolutely hates it when its dubbed

TheOctobers

we are about to find out if we are into it lol bc we have never seen it besides Animatrix

Jason Rogue

Either or to be frank. Some dubs are fine, as they have gotten better in years. The dub for Attack on Titan is just as good as the Japanese dub. If you don't mind reading and sometimes missing scenes as your eyes are forced to read what's going on.

Brian Rewis

There is a great anime on Netflix called Vinland Saga. It’s all of the greatness of Japanese anime, but it is a Viking story. So good.

Johnny Soul

Great starting anime would be Death Note, Demon Slayer and Maybe Vinland Saga or Jujutsu Kaisen because they are on the shorter side and still ongoing

Flexorcist

I will find out with you then😅

Gail Ferguson

I feel like the better experience when watching anime is watching it in Japanese -- the voicework can't be beat, honestly. So far the only anime I would consider the dub better is Solo Leveling.

Darth Sidious

I wouldn’t mind you guess pausing every now and then when watching anime especially attack on titan

Draco

Demon slayer is definitely the one to watch. There is also the show Arcane (not sure if you would call it anime necessarily but an incredible show)

Johnny Soul

We do not hate it please don’t listen to someone who doesn’t watch anime

Brian Rewis

Also, before you commit to a series you may want to see how many episodes there are. People are always suggesting Naruto, which has over 200 episodes. If you get into the spinoffs you are over 1000 episodes. I’ve seen other react channels try to take on beefy anime shows before, and the viewer ship is good at the start, but you will see diminishing returns on viewership well before you get even close to the end of some of these shows.

Reaction Junkie

Okay this isn't necessarily anime but kinda is lol, Please please please watch Avatar: The Last Airbender. Show is absolutely amazing, it has an enormous fanbase and would do very well I think.

SajonaraHitori

yes attack on titan is one of the best shows EVER!!!! So happy :)

Johnny Soul

All in all Octobers watch what’s best for you not us. We want to watch you guys enjoy something to it’s full extent and idc what any of the purest say I’ve been watching anime since I was 13 and most people like me our first anime was on Adult Swim in DUB whether it was Inuyasha, FMA, Cowboy Bebop, YuYu Hakasho, Case Closed, Trigun, Big O I mean the list goes on and idk where this new legion of people came from but it’s honestly annoying because I know most of you did not watch your first anime in Sub and if you did you were probably born in the 2000s when anime got cool to everyone

Justyn H

I’m so excited for this! People will say you have to watch it in Japanese but honestly just watch it how it feels best for you guys. Some people have issues processing reading subtitles and watching the show at the same time. For this and a few other anime the sub and dub versions are both extremely well done. Personally for either reactions though I like to watch in English. But I’ve watched the actual show both ways

Justyn H

As far as another anime rec, can never go wrong with fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood.

JW

death note or hunter x hunter is cool

BusterB

Well how about Digimon, Digital Monsters, vintage 1999- ?

Michael Shelton

YuYu Hakusho and always dubbed for the first watch. The subtitles distract from picking up everything, your first watch. Going through again, using the subtitles after is better because then you get it's, sometimes, more accurate translation.

Johnny Soul

Great point bro, I like Sub too I just don’t understand the Dub hate you feel me not from you but from others. People act like Dub actors aren’t trying to give you the best product as well but I bet you will never hear someone say a Sub was trash smh

Johnny Soul

Quick question guys, would reading Manga in English be the equivalent of watching anime in Dub ( Druski Hands Up Meme) 👀

Brady Renfro

Would love for you guys to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender! It's not an anime per say but is highly regarded as a great animated show and a cultural phenomenon. It has great visuals, story, lessons, and so much more. Only 3 seasons and relatively short episodes :) Very excited for AOT! Was my first real anime show I watched :)

Brady Renfro

Yes! I love that show with my whole heart.

TC24

Hunter x Hunter

Michal Kubán

I almost always prefer original, but when the time will come and you will watch FMAB, English dub is the better choice. Here I choose the OG.

Ludus Aurea

Gotta do Japanese with subs. Sometimes the dubs are hilarious and it makes it an experience but usually nah.

Jack Mingle

Darker Than Black, one of the best anime of all time, underrated.

RegTravels

One Punch Man or My Hero Academia

Hailey ✨

One punch is awesome

Hailey ✨

Vampire knight was my very first anime, so I have to recommend it on principle lol Love attack on titan and fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood

RegTravels

Right! I think it's a great beginner anime

Aidan Fitzgerald

I've seen two animes in my life: Attack on Titan and Death Note (both made by the same creator I believe). Both were absolutely amazing, and Death Note is very short (37 total episodes under 30 min each), so that would be my other pick

Kevin Seet

Naruto series PLEASEEE!!

Kesa

if beginner, i recommend death note

Ethan Kayne

Dubb Makes it easier to keep up with what you're watching especially seeing as the subs would be super small on screen and the dubb for AOT is actually really good. Although the choice is always yours. Sub or dub I know I'll enjoy watching it with you. I've been looking for the opportunity to sit down and watch that thing again.

Ethan Kayne

Might I suggest Castlevania, blue-eyed Samurai, Demon Slayer, and the legend of vox machina which technically is not an anime neither is blue eyes Samurai now that I'm thinking about it but it is animated and you really should put that on your list of things to watch.

jenna marie

Not sure if ppl consider it anime, and i’ve never seen it, but Avatar the Last Airbender seems to be popular for reaction channels and is in English. If you’re watching 2 then doing one in English/dubbed and one in Japanese might reach a wider audience. Not sure how youtube works so i might be wrong though.

jenna marie

Death Note’s the only one I’ve seen but I could see Tony getting super into it.

jenna marie

I’m stuck on this lol. Cause I think with dub I think it’s more the sensory experience of tone and the flow of the language being missing so the closest thing might be if the art style or layout got westernized. But, that could also be a thing in anime.

jenna marie

Also just a heads up that the anime community can get intense; don’t let anyone make you feel pressured to put stuff out faster or continue watching something if you’re not enjoying it!

Johnny Soul

But in Dub you get the experience of characters from different countries having a accent and to me that’s a plus while in sub everyone just sounds Japanese and I want to learn Japanese so I can actually feel and understand the language instead of using English words that get interpreted differently depending on what streaming service you use lol it just creates a separation for me that’s all.

Harvey

Cowboy bepop (one season) (amazing dub) Neon genesis (one season and a movie) Are 2 of the most critically acclaimed anime’s that are on the shorter side. But if I could ask for 1 thing it would be One piece. There’s over 1000 episodes but you don’t need to watch them all, only certain ones are canon.

Harvey

That’s not anime. That’s just animation. Massive difference Shows great tho

Judo

It’s heavily influenced by anime and Asian culture with a banging storyline. stop crying

KAISA

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

David Barron

Mob Psycho 100. It’s a solid 10/10, 3 shorter seasons, and the series is done. Pretty good anime to start with IMO.

Josh Ashford

Attack on titan is incredible, can't wait guys

Lifehouse

My all time favorite show: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - This show is also great in english! So it's easier to follow! Its the perfect show. It also only has 64 episodes of ~20ish minutes. So its not too long aswell.

Nat B

Trigun and Cowboy Bebop are both great for beginners with only one season and good dubs. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is amazing. Inuyashi and Fruits Basket are goofy but cute. Blood+ is one of my favorites but is a lesser known series.

Brian Rewis

Trigun has a special place in my heart.

Jesse Wray

Dragon ball z and avatar the last airbender for sure that’ll keep you busy for awhile

KingHarrison

anime is so dead id rather you watch the simpsons loool

Earl anjejo

I honestly don’t care, just as long as you watch AOT!😁

blvckriot

In what world😭

Jolenny M

Plus I like watching in bed but when its subbed I have to sit up because of my glasses RIP 😭

Jolenny M

Omg yes but dubbed for the love of God, I hate their Japanese voices, please don't hurt me 🥺

Jolenny M

Right!! I want all my focus on the fighting and drama not reading, it takes me out of the emerging.

Chase Schleich

Where's the "Please No Anime" option?

HoneyBiscuit

I agree with chase. Where's the "No anime" option??

Hailey ✨

I wouldn’t say I’m a HUGE anime fan, there are a few I like, but I loved one punch man. Invincible is probably the closest thing in my opinion, but obviously they’re still very different stories.

RegTravels

true, still both great stories!
