Fuck yeahhhhh. I know what i’m doing tonight 😁😁😁

Âčẽ

One of the best movies of all time. Not many sequels can be said for these days🔥🔥

Lisa - Marie

the fastest ever clicked a video - all plans dropped until watched this reaction. one of the best movies i've ever seen!

reijav

Ahhhhh can't wait to get home tonight! The Octobers always coming through and giving me something to look fwd to. 🥳

J-rad

Told you!! 😉 The only other time that I can think of where a legit sequel took the original and built upon it with overwhelming success is Aliens, also directed by James Cameron, which was the sequel to Alien, directed by Ridley Scott. Both are certified sci-fi classics.

Mack

Let's goo! Can't wait for y'all to jump into the Predator and Rambo series 🙌

Chris

I saw this in the theater when it first came out, and it blew my mind. Back then, this was ground breaking, we had never seen anything like it. James Cameron raised the bar.

Johnny Soul

You guys are awesome I literally just grabbed my food

Reaction Junkie

Holy fuck I was looking forward to this as soon as you posted the 1st one. But to have it come out so fast?!?! You guys rock!!

Lifehouse

Just came home from work.. instantly turned this one for obvious reasons.

AuntVes

Thanks to Brooke and Tony! 🦾

sOMbr

LFG this is the best one imo!!

TC24

Yall should add James Cameron to your director poll…he doesn’t miss, him and Christopher Nolan my favorite directors all time

Nat B

I remember waiting for Friday to pick out a movie at the local rental place each week and then having to wait my turn to watch over the weekend lol. Digital media has changed so much in how we consume movies and shows. I never would have imagined the access we have now as a kid in the 80s. Love y'alls intros 🤍

Christian

My top action movies that I watch all the time are Bourne Trilogy- Matt Damon Speed- Keanu Reeves Mission Impossible (especially the last 4 movies)-Tom Cruise

Âčẽ

Kindergarten cop is such a classic. Also predator.

Peter K

You can skip the rest of them, Cameron only did the first two, the rest don't have the same impact as the first two. Both of these were in your top 250, at least they should have both been on it. So, I'll use it to promote two of the best movies on the best list, the Godfathers 1 and 2...I know, broken record, but since you liked Goodfellas, I'm certain you will love the GFs.

Shirlene Wright

Oh Wow! Love the quick reaction into the next movie. I saw this in the theater like 3 times. Every time it was packed. Still one of my favorite sequels. Okay, I am fitna watch this right now! Thanks in advance! SPOILER…. Also, when there were 2 Sarah Connors on screen, the front one is played by Linda Hamilton’s twin sister Leslie who passed away in 2020.

Gail Ferguson

LOL -- my thought, too when Tony said he though Arnold was a psycho after the first movie. Honestly, it would be fun to watch them react to all the Arnold movies. Some of the comedy ones are good!

JJ Carlisle

Mr O you had it good compared to me. I had 1 channel until I was in 9th grade. ABC was it. I was able to watch cable at one grandmother's and satellite at another's but that wasn't very often. Also when I did get a TV in my room it was black and white lol

JJ Carlisle

I personally don't really care for the rest of the franchise except Salvations. I think that one is awesome ( I know Im In the minority). I will watch the rest of them with you if you guys watch them but I wouldn't worry about putting g them on youtube.

Ludus Aurea

This is probably where Mrs. October heard "come with me if you want to live" from Arnie. This is the only DVD I still have, I think, besides the Jurassic Park movies and like 2 blurays. I agree that it's all better now and I would never be one of those guys who worships physical media - I have thousands of games, movies and shows etc. digital, but I do also have hundreds of games and stuff I've been collecting physically. In a way Tony is still right but I think the details are being disregarded. Both terminators in the movie are learning computers. The only thing the Arnold in this movie was programmed to do was protect John - and technically do all the things a T-800 is already capable of doing. But it wasn't programmed "to" specifically gain Johns trust or anything. Doing so is just a natural result of it following his own orders when he sent it back. The terminators are self-contained AI-driven cyborgs which essentially makes them beings. Yea, they're "robots" in a way, but like Mrs. October mentioned about Detroit: Become Human they are essentially their own organisms and they aren't just robots blindly doing a task.

KingHarrison

loved tv as a kid, shameless every thursday night 10pm channel 4 lool simpsons channel 4 every night, holes from disney one of my fav childhood films for sure that film still stands up today genuinely... seigorny weaver was on holes too lool however you spell her name, i think the first cartoon i remember seeing was like rugrats and wild thornburies! fair play me an tony got alot in common hahha even the walking dead intro dance is the same

Gail Ferguson

I remember working for video stores and having to rewind the VHS returns. So annoying!

Ludus Aurea

When I was watching the reaction to the first one yesterday I noticed something I don't think I ever noticed before - Sarah and John both are riding motorcycles of some sort. It had to be an intentional parallel. Like time in Terminator, the rest of the movies are cyclical. It's essentially the same movie over and over again with different little changes, other than Terminator 4. Although technically Terminator 4 does lead off of the events of Terminator 3.

Peter K

If you haven't seen the Die Hards, Lethal Weapons, or Rambo movies you ought to, those three franchises from the 80s were the first action flicks that started the genre of modern action flicks.

Christian

Oh yeah I’ve seen all these movies lol I really love the original Rambo movie

Mack

Yes! The last action hero With Arnold is golden and kindergarten cop 🙌

Gail Ferguson

Hi Mr & Mrs O! I'd like to point out that Linda Hamilton worked super hard to get into shape. When this movie came out, people were so shocked at her transformation. She shed something like 12 pounds or so lifting weights and eating very little -- Arnold said she was more cut than he was LOL. Her one arm reload of the shotgun was such a huge moment for me, I must have watched it a hundred times over the years. It is an impractical way to reload and shoot a shotgun, but she's injured and just goes for it, which is pretty badass. Her appearance in the aviator sunglasses caused a huge surge of women purchasing them. She trained with various guns much like Keanu Reeves would do for John Wick. After this movie, there was a rise in women seeking the muscled arms look. Angela Basset probably looked the most awesome with it after Linda. Another great thing from this movie is the large machine gun that Arnold uses here, is a prop also found in Predator.

Gail Ferguson

I would actually also offer Peaky Blinders as a possible watch if they enjoyed Goodfellas. :)

Michal Kubán

14:18 As a 90s kid, I loved those periods. People just did not get offended by everything. If mere words hurt you so much, I will always consider you a snowflake.

Peter K

If they do PB they need to use CC because those Irish/English accents are hard to follow without them.

reactive1

There are six Terminator movies plus a TV series.

Alex Gonzalez

There’s a reason this movie is my number one favorite of all time. It has it all. Literal Cinema.

Harvey

The rest of the franchise is both not worth it and not needed. James Cameron was the brains behind it all and these are his only 2 Nostalgia is the only reason why certain people like the others Nolan’s filmography is calling and Ik Tony is going to love the next one

Edward Martin

Ok, at 1:23 on your video, I never put 2 and 2 together, those were the sounds used for Mystique in X-Men...

Chris

I always get a kick out of Mrs. O reading a prepared statement to start the video. At least, that's what it looks like.

Peter K

You should watch Bicentennial Man for a completely different take on robots, a very good Robin Williams movie from a story by Isaac Asimov, the father of modern science fiction.

Jessica Houser

Omg, I love the movie Holes! Such a great movie. My brother is the same age as you and I watched it with him nonstop. When I was a kid you had to pay for the Disney channel separately and we didn't have cable but once a month they'd give a weekend free of Disney to get people to sign up. That's the only way I saw anything Disney. It's definitely sad that our kids will never understand physical media. I watched this in the theatres. It was so cool as a preteen to experience this like that. I'll definitely never forget it. The world is so different now. My nostalgia is Fraggle Rock! Shew...I'm old. I did watch Rocko's Modern Life. I still call my sister Hef to this day. (Her first name is Heather and I couldn't pronounce it when I was a toddler LOL)

EnVy316LeGeNd

i really like Salvation except for THAT cgi scene

Harvey

I think McG’s directorial style is awful, the best thing about it is it’s screenplay, especially the 3rd act, it’s definitely not an awful film (like genisys) but I don’t think it’s worth the time when there’s so many greats they haven’t seen

Slingblade75

I had forgotten how much fun this movie was! That was my first time seeing the extended cut! Thank You Mr. & Mrs October!

Chris

T3 and Genisys are worth it. Salvation isn't bad. The one where Hamilton makes a comeback was not good.

Chris

The scene with Kyle Reese was cut, and so was the scene where they take the chip out of the terminator to allow him to learn.

Chris

No, they should watch them.

Chris

Some of the rest are hit or miss, but worth it.

Steven B

Random but would you guys ever do Supernatural? I know Mrs. October hasn't seen it, so it would be nice to see her reaction while Mr. October revisits! Thoughts??? Carry on my Waywarddd Sonnnn

Harvey

Just finished watching and this was the special cut not the directors, in the directors there’s an end scene with Sarah in the future (everything was normal) which was James’ way of ending the franchise. But the production company retconned that so they could get more money

J-rad

Idk how everyone else feels, but the Terminator movies end here as far as I’m concerned. I think it would be perfectly fine if they don’t react to the rest of the franchise.

Brian Rewis

There was a Terminator TV show that was pretty good. Cersei from Game of Thrones played Sarah Connor and she was TOUGH

KenthalasAT

Bet you never thought a movie could make you cry for a dead machine, eh? Now you get why this movie is so beloved in the franchise. I'm the same exact age as the kid who played John, and watched it when I was that age, it's always been one of my favorite movies. Glad y'all enjoyed it.

Chase Schleich

When you don't know which version to watch, just ask. Make a poll and say "We're going to watch "X" movie this week. Which version should we watch?" You'll get a very clear answer a majority of the time. Sometimes its a toss up, but there's usually a preferred cut.

joseph williams

hey at 2 mins 3 seconds i saw the Pitch Black movie y'all should do that next all 3

Yolanda

Yesss I loved smart house lol

Yolanda

You guys should watch some Disney movies.

BloodyFlix

80's and 90's movies just hit harder, IMO. That's why they keep getting revisited via sequels, reboots, remakes, re-imaginings, etc etc... I'm loving rewatching these with fresh eyes along for the ride.

McC

The extended version really isn't the best version of T2... There is a lot of unnessary filler, and scenes that have a tendency of disrupting the pace of the movie. And some scenes are just straight up bad, and seems out of place. Generally, I would recommend extended versions of great films, but T2 is a rare exception. There is a reason why these scenes were cut, and I can honestly say that the theatrical version of T2 is in fact the best version in this particular case. Still glad you guys saw it of course! It's a MUST WATCH!

McC

Your conversation about robots in the end of the video is interesting, and makes me think of the movie "Ex Machina" (2014). Have you guys seen it? I highly recommend it :)

Becca

OMG- of the 20 zillion times I’ve seen this movie- I never watched the extended version- that was so cool! It really did add massive amounts of depth to everything. Thanks y’all! Also- if you want to do Arnold in truly epic form then you have to watch Conan the Barbarian! It’s a cult classic for a reason. I’m not saying it’s the e best movie ever- but dude is a BEAST in that movie and it is so much fun to watch.

Michael Shelton

Weird coincidence, That during the chase with the semi after the arcade, the bad guy crashes into something that is divided into two building like structures(2 bridge tunnels) and the bridge at the top says CAUTION - 9' 11". There's your conspiracy theory of the day.

Adam Ramirez

Love the reaction. Any idea when you might check out other sequels?

Ryan Evans

Brilliant movie i say top 5 ever classic I loved the first one to
