4x14, one of the best and most iconic episodes in the entire show. It's sad because if the world hadn't fallen Lizzie would most likely have been able to get medication or treatment for her illness, but mental illness in this kind of environment is extremely dangerous as shown. Its suspected/theorised that she's schizophrenic, which is why she keeps hearing the walkers voices. Sad as it is I feel like Carol made the only choice you could make in this situation, Lizzie was about to hurt Judith and surely would try again at a later date

I love the continuity of storytelling throughout this arc. The smoke and Walkers coming out the woods that were burnt up were from the house that Daryl and Beth lit up. Just the little things that show the world is still moving around each individual story. While "The Grove" was critically acclaimed, it did not win any major awards. However, online television critics have generally ranked it as one of the best episodes of The Walking Dead. I remember watching this like it was yesterday.🥹 Daryl & Carol are my two favourite characters 🖤🖤

Wall-EE is goated im excited

You definitely don’t look like a POS.. I think 90% of twd community can agree that as much as we hate to say it Carol has to do that. She was a danger to herself and others and unfortunately in this environment this was no way to help her. She would have eventually tried to kill them, even said she wanted to kill Judith, and no matter how many times they tried to convince her that the walkers were dangerous, it’s just something that is hardwired in her brain.. something that she was born with like Carol said. They couldn’t medicate her, couldn’t separate esp for Judith.. couldn’t all stay together.. it’s just an impossible situation.

You said the name of episode 14, and I just went “oh $h!t”. I didn’t realize we were there already!

Jessica Houser

Disney bought Pixar in 2006. All Pixar movies made before that were separate from Disney. On a side note, DreamWorks is separate as well....like Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, and Trolls. An awesome animated movie about robots.....Wild Robot. I loved that movie! So good! Drink that water girl! It's good for you and baby October! My favorite Rick scene is coming up soon! I can't wait....I'm betting you'll know it when you see it! Thanks for the hardwork! Love ya'll!

Harvey

Don’t sleep on The Prestige btw been a while since we had Nolan, and I guarantee you both will love that film

Olive_Sandy

Nah Lizzie had it coming. Judith needed protecting and Carol was 100% right in doing what she did.

Brian Rewis

Bob and Tyreese's actors play big characters from The Wire. I loved seeing them shine on this show after.

ThatGuyTrent

I also think Carol was right to tell Tyrese about what she did to Karen and Dave. I think it was good for Tyrese to know so that he can accept it and move on, or kill her, which carol expected and was ready for. But imagine if she didn’t tell him, and if they find the rest of the group, and Rick finally told Tyrese the truth. Tyrese would have felt a whole other level of betrayal since they had just been surviving together and she had every opportunity to tell him.

Mrs O..how you gonna live in the south and call them Pee cans ??😁😁

Let's go

The music *is* played in Fallout, but it is actually a song from the late 1930s. "Maybe" was the intro music for Fallout 1 and was included on the game's radio in Fallout 3. The slow pull away in the intro, I am absolutely certain is mimicing the Fallout series' use of it in their intros and trailers. I love that song, It wasn't on the Fallout 4 radio, so I ended up just modding my game so it would include the Fallout 3 music!

Owlie

The song that Beth was singing while playing piano is actually hers (Emily Kinney) she has music on Spotify and some of her songs are actually pretty good. I didn't know she was older than me. She is 39 now lol.

Tayshawn Williams

I had to come back to yall. This scene was so sad I had to see y’all’s reaction. 🥹

Note to self: Do NOT scratch butt right before cooking for The Octobers. 😂

Ludus Aurea

That is indeed the ink spots they’re in the fallout show , 3, new Vegas, 4 and 76

Ludus Aurea

Like I said before season 4 episode 8 through like season 6 episode 8 are my favorite for sure.

Ludus Aurea

The ink spots are a current band. Maybe might be an old song.

Annie Bonz

WALL-E f'n slaps. I cried my eyes out watchin freakin CoCo with ya'll lol

Christian

carol was right to tell him about the murders because it would allow him to be at peace with it and stop having these nightmares

Episode 14 has to be one of the heaviest episodes of tv I've ever watched. Absolutely devastating, torturous hour of misery. Brilliantly written though. I don't blame Carol one bit. What could she have possibly done differently? It's easy to simply dismiss Lizzie as a cold blooded psycho but in reality, children would have all kinds of psychological problems growing up in a traumatic world like this. I feel sorry for her because if the world were different she may have been helped before things went this far.

Chris

I think Daryl was touching Beth so much because she has a bad ankle, and he's making sure she doesn't fall.

Chris

Pea-cans are the best.

Brady Renfro

Just now sitting down and starting to watch this one. I wanted to say first I’m excited to see your reaction to episode 14, when I had first watched that episode it left me distraught. But that episode was so well written, and got me thinking about how to deal with those who are mentally ill and need medications to deal with normal psychological human problems. Now stack onto that with trauma and fear of living in a zombie apocalypse is terrifying thought. This show constantly adds in real life problems that you never thought of when thinking about how to live in a post apocalyptic world like this one.

Brady Renfro

Also WALL-E is an amazing movie!

NastyStain420

This is one of my top 5 episodes in the series and this is the episode Carol became my favorite character. It's so deep when she was asked to raise the children, and she ends up having to bury them. Don't let Carol babysit your kids lmao 🤣.

Josh Ashford

I didn't feel hate for her cause it was mental illness, so not her fault

Lee Shafer

I think Carol was great and also she did what was best for the rest of the group. Telling Tyrese was the right thing to do . The acting was so great in this episode one of tvs best

BloodyFlix

I think the conversations and situations throughout 4x14 set-up Tyrese to be more understanding to Carol's confession and eventual forgiveness. If they hadn't had that talk about Carol doing what she needs to do and when he said "you did right by everyone," then things might have gone differently.

Chris

I'm pretty sure that Carol told Tyrese because part of her was hoping he'd shoot her so she didn't have to live with what she did to Lizzie.

Ashlyn

she even has a song that mentions the walking dead!

Ashlyn

I think the line Rick has said multiple times is such a good theme from the show, " we can come back from this." Because some of the characters have done crazy things and bad things (like Lizzie) and even though they can, some people can't. They all do things to survive, but not everyone should be redeemed for it since it is pushing too far.

Gail Ferguson

The Ink Spots recorded "Maybe" in 1939... the group was established in 1933 and changed their name to the Ink Spots shortly after 1934. The original members were Deek Watson, Bill Kenny, Hoppy Jones and Charlie Fuqua -- and they became huge hits in the UK during a tour in 1934. The song is from the original members of the Ink Spots, which disbanded in the 1950s. They were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After the 1950s, two members established their own groups calling themselves The Ink Spots. When they left those groups, dozens of different groups in the US tried to claim to be second generation The Ink Spots, but they have nothing to do with the original. The song in Fallout is by the Ink Spots original members from the 1930s. Any modern day groups are using a borrowed name.

Gail Ferguson

In her defense, my Texan grandmother said it the same way. I was taught by my Texan mom to say it the other way, 'Pe-cawn'. I'm not sure why but my great-grandma was German and had some strange ways of saying things, so maybe grandma picked it up like that.

Gail Ferguson

Honestly, I think Carol was trying to commit suicide by Tyrese.

Gail Ferguson

It is this. She lost the sweet girl, had to put Lizzie down, was carrying guilt for the murders, and had been thrown out by her friend Rick. She has nothing left and wanted the option to get out and Tyrese is the only way that was going to happen (Carol is a survivor and won't do it herself).

ThatGuyTrent

I agree, she slid him the gun and everything and expected him to crash out lol

TheOctobers

I thought that was the southern way! lol thats how my nana said it!

JJ Carlisle

Lol I know. It's all in fun. I joke with my family members that say it that way and they pick on me for the way I say it too

JJ Carlisle

Gail I'm from Texas also and we all say it differently in my family. It's fun at holidays because we all argue about it ( in good fun of course)

Jerry Boser

Ironically one of those "biker" guys is in fact on SoA haha good call but he's not a biker in it

xxtccyunno

dont even get me started on SoA . definetly top tier television , also yall dnt care but beth is so pretty . idont think daryl and her relationship is goin towards tht . i think its more just having someone who truly means alot to you and has helpef you mentally .

xxtccyunno

sheeesh man. i just i couldnt do it . my soft spot is kids and i just wouldnt be ablr to do it id have to just leave with her or leave her thereby herself man best case scenerio she goes thru with turning into one . when tht original theme music kicks in . the tears fall

Undead x Dragon

Nah lizzie was a threat she needed to go Mika was to soft and I feel bad she went out the way she did but she would have probably suffered a different fate or worse and I hate to say any of that but that's just the apocalypse does makes you have to do the hard choices

Josip Buretić

The good old Jacob 😉 fun fact he did have the same facial look in SOA at that time as here in TWD,and we all did think hmmmm Jacob has new image but the change was because of his time in TWD 🤣🤣 if you saw SOA you know exactly what I am talking about 😂

Josip Buretić

SAMCRO baby. Beth is definitely pretty

Alec Frampton

You should definitely watch SOA one of the best shows ever!!
