Prometheus yes! Prometheus is set in the alien universe and one of my favorites so please check that out! Most people will agree you can watch it now or after: Aliens Alien 3 Alien Resurrection But you must watch it before: Alien: Covenant Alien: Romulus Technically theres a timeline accruate way to watch the movies but honestly If you just watch the movies in order by the years they were released youll be fine! 😀

Has to be the extended director's cut of the Abyss, because the ending of the theatrical version does not make all that much sense. And the Abyss was Cameron's warm up for his next ocean adventure, Titanic.

I'm sorry, but I have seen all of them and wish I had stopped after Aliens. The rest are just sequels that are not as good, not even close. The last two were better than the middle two, but none of them could hold a candle to the first two. You have seen the best of the Alien franchise, fact. I was thinking that, since you liked Predator, the director of it was John McTiernan. He is better known for making one of the first 80s action flicks, Die Hard. Definitely should be on your watch list, along with the Lethal Weapon and Rambo franchises.

You are correct. Hicks played Kyle Reese in The Terminator. Private Vasquez played young John Connor's Foster Mom Janelle in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. On this rewatch I kept seeing reminders of Stranger Things. This movie was so great to see in theaters. When Ripley fought the Alien Momma I remember the whole theater went WILD! Awesome reaction. Sadly this was not Special Edition but if you manage to find it's worth watching. Alien^3 and Alien(4) Resurrection are semi ok. (at least you get one answer to your questions). I like Prometheus and Covenant (mostly because Alien games). Newest release Alien Romulus was above average.

Saw this in the theater when it came out and omg what a wild ride. My friend got so scared she grabbed the stranger next to her and scared the crap out of him! One of my favorite movies of all time. Looking forward to watching your reaction tonight!

Do yourself a favor and watch the trailer for Alien: Isolation. It is an incredible game, and it’s about Ridley’s daughter going looking for her after the black box from the Nostromo is recovered. The game desigers went to the arts, props and sets designs teams for the original Alien movie and got tons of pics and notes to make the game authentic. The game is TERRIFYING.

I love these movies so much that I'd honestly watch reactions to all of them haha. People like to shit on 3 but I think it's a wildly misunderstood gem. The first will always be my favorite but Aliens is a damn good sequel and comes very close to being as incredible. Ironically I think the Alien vs Predator ones are the least interesting. I prefer each Franchise to stay in its own canon.

Watch this franchise in order of release, not chronological timeline. And don’t listen to anyone trash-talking Alien³, it’s a bold swing into a whole other sub-genre, just like this one was. But it’s Assembly Cut or bust if you do decide to go on. Please believe that, lol 🙏🏻😅😌

There are scenes in the directors cut that I agree should be left out, but one that I think adds a lot is Ripley finding out about her daughter, and how she passed away at the age of 66, 2 years before Ripley was saved. It explains why she was so protective and determined to save Newt.

I am one of those weirdos that enjoys ~all~ of the Alien and Predator movies. Watch them in order of release. :) Also -- I buy my grandson so many of the Hot Wheels city things and you are right, the orange tracks can come apart pretty easily, especially if they are just learning and moving them around and bending them. But darn it...I can't seem to stop showering him with them and cars, and marbles, and marble runs, and legos....he really loves building things!

Hot take: Theatrical > Special edition. I’m so glad you did the theatrical, which IS Cameron’s cut. He did the special edition for home video and it adds the scene with the daughter, but also adds some stuff that gives too many hints of what’s coming. Glad you enjoyed it.

Each alien movie is basically a different take on the same story. Different genres sort of. Unfortunately all of them but 3 are all action movies and aliens does it best. Covenant is trash but I hear Romulus is ok. 3 is way better than 4 or covenant but people forget to shit on those.

The people in that hearing at the beginning are morons. But the core of the story requires people to ignore Ridley, who is always right. Also yes Michael biehn from terminator is in this.

Alien Romulus. It takes place Between Alien 1 and 2 its very good. Aliens Theatrical < Special edition is much better to me, Nutes family, the discovery of the alien spaceship by the colonist, the condition of the colony before the marines arrive, more weapons etc. But if you want to complete the Ripley story watch Alien 3 and 4.
