tbh I mostly hate the rock as an actor lol and Im a huge WWE fan so I've followed him since I was a kid. I really liked his early movies like walking tall and the rundown but his more modern stuff is just kinda slop movies. I'm kinda the same with Arnold, he's got some bangers but mostly just meh. I'd love more comedies. Seriously so many greats you haven't touched yet.

For everyone saying to watch Prey...heavy vouch! It's amazing, and the fact that they used mostly native american actors and actresses is *chefs kiss*. They have two versions as well. An english version and one that's dubbed in comanche.

Arnold is a terrible actor imo, he’s just Arnold in everything. The only movie I thought he was actually good in was Maggie. You guys might like that one. Also, Anaconda is a great creature feature. Which doesn’t make it a “good” movie, but it’s fun if you like creature features! You guys keep me company on the treadmill so I’ll watch whatever, thanks!

I don't know why everyone rags on this movie so much. I always found it a fun watch. As far as Arnold goes, I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but that said, I enjoy most of his movies. Even his comedies, which is one of my least favorite genres. If you want to check out some of his comedies, I'd agree with True Lies and Kindergarten Cop, which are action comedies. Jingle All The Way is also popular for a holiday movie. Personally, I like his Conan series of movies. Old school sword & sorcery fun. If you try those and like them, you can try similar movies like Red Sonja and Beast Master. Regardless, I'm here for your journey.

Hi Octobers, I’m only a few minutes in, but I wanted to give you a quick list of comedies you might try. Comedies rarely win over other genres, but these should still be crowd pleasers - they are literal ‘laugh out loud’ kind of films. -Galaxy Quest (but it’s even funnier if you watch at least one Star Trek before- which you should consider watching anyway- great franchise and the new remakes are excellent movies on their own. Still- this film is hilarious.) -The Hangover - What We Do In the Shadows -Friday -Anchorman -Stepbrothers Less LOL, more fun and smiles: - Game Night - Steal Magnolias - Legally Blond The thing about laugh out loud comedy is that most of it is funny only with context, so many things are only funny to the people that have a background context- like knowing the pop culture references, the things that are controversial at that particular time, etc. So things don’t age well. Like, trying to watch the most popular comedy when I was in school would be torture today- American Pie does not age well. (Even if you went to band camp 😝) Btw- Sandler has a lot of good comedies, but if you want to see his real acting range then you should watch Uncut Gems.

CONAN! CONAN! CONAN! CONAN! Yes yes yes yes yes, PLEASE! - and they should know that at the time of Conan the Barbarian, Arnold was in his bodybuilding prime. His bodybuilding physique is legendary to this day.

Arnold may not be a great actor, but he did improve over time. But he was also good at picking roles he was just about the only person at that time that could do it. I’ve seen other athletes in the 80’s and 90’s try to act- the successful ones can be counted in one hand. Arnold was, by far, not the worst. I think that, other than his war/action stuff, y’all probably wouldn’t like his moves. They are not great. With the exception of Maggie and True Lies. But between being the Terminator *and* Conan the Barbarian, he totally solidified he status as a legend.
