MY EXACT REACTION TO SEEING MILO!! I WAS LIKE WTF!!!!!!

Kierra

I know realistically this movie isn't for me like it's for the this generation so I'm trying not to complain much but I was highly disappointed in this film. Also apparently they cut out the black girl song she did a version of 'who got what it takes' from the first film. Also Tess Tyler is somewhere crying in disbelief because this red haired girl is just embarrassing like Tess was actually talented and iconic. I swear they don't make mean girls like they used to.

Arwen (Over) Reacts

This movie was so cute, I loved it and girl I freaked out as well, when I saw Milo! And Cliff is so cute, i love him, adorble babyboy.

Tia

The girl with the cello is also the little sister in The Fallout

BigZa

i was watching some ugly bald bitch ass man react to the movie and said Liamani couldn’t act and her voice isn’t that good and skipped her final performance

BigZa

that exactly like i use to like his channel back in like 2023 he started watching Disney Channel shows like Hannah Montana That’s So Raven Suite life of Zack and Cody Wizards of Waverly Place and etc as he got more down the line of the seasons he really started pissing me off with his critiques and his takes so bad like he said Alex russo sucks btc u suck just so misogynistic i unsubscribed and saw he reacted to this and wasn’t surprised about him being such a bitch his name is GeekedOutNation

Kylah

In Cliff’s full final jam song that’s not in the movie, there’s a line where he says “When I wife her up, they’ll call it ring around the Rosie” I think it’s so cute, I like Cliff & Rosie dynamic.

Luke Criner

During Final Jam, the backup danger on Desi's right side on the screen. The guy from Descendants Wicked wonderland who plays squeaky squirmy was the backup dancer and the chords Fletch and Desi played on the Guitar was the melody to his song get ready during final jam.

Simon Mutunzi

Icl we gotta watch the Teen Beach Movies, Lemonade Mouth, and/or Let It Shine.

LiterallyJustAGirl

You know what looking at this girl the one who played Pink, she reminds me of a young Mandy Moore

LiterallyJustAGirl

Yeah like some of these male reactors their jokes are just "haha women." and "haha I want to screw her." Its like they cant even watch a movie without making a comment on a woman's appearance or being just like ick. I only watch like two male reactors that are chill and dont do that weird crap

Nyara

OMG WHO!?

Nyara

My only problem with the mean girl is that she just wasn't giving...like her backup dancers were actually SO much better than her. I don't mind her childishness though because it is a kid's movie. Also, fun fact her backup dancers are brother and sister in real life. Ella and Orlando Lucas obviously they're dancers too. PS Desi and Callie were so cute I hate that they cut so many of her scenes and her song, but I think we know why...🙄

BigZa

GeekedOutNation his real name is Steven Merced GeekedOutWrestling on Twitter

Jesly's Reactions

yeah the mean girl wasn’t really giving me much & yeah i heard they cut a lot of her scenes… smh disney

BigZa

it was on his patreon which made me fully end my membership like he’s such a bitch ass man

Jesly's Reactions

wow i couldn’t even finish that video… idk what the point of dog pilling on young actors mostly from a disney movie that’s not meant to have the best acting ever🫣

BigZa

that exactly like wtf is his problem just pathetic even his own community said he was being too harsh and nasty for no reason

Siobhan Linehan

Ok, so I'm going to say A LOT lol. I apologize now and if you don't want to read it all that's fine. But I always need to let my thoughts out. 😂 It's interesting that you said at the end about worrying that you were too harsh on the movie when I'd say you weren't harsh enough. I've watched this movie twice alone and with 6 different reactors and you're the only reactor so far who's liked this movie. And sadly I'm with the others on this one. I'm so sorry. Well first let me talk about the positive things: I definitely don't mind the cringe of this movie at all. As you said, the first two were super cringe so I expected this one to be too. They got the tone right. I was also VERY excited to see Milo, he was featured in the trailers so I did know he'd be in it but even so it was great to see him. He's so handsome and his acting in that one little scene he has is better than anyone else's acting in the whole movie lol. That's why he's Flynn Rider. 👑 I was always a Joe girl and I still am now lol, I do spend a lot of time on TikTok watching videos of him ngl. 😂🔥 I also watched the Jo Bros movie they did at Christmas and it was funny, I like that they kept the bickering for this too. It's sort of their thing now and it's fun. Malachi was great, I can definitely see why he's Disney's new male star and is in everything. Not only is he a good singer and dancer but his acting is good and he's very charismatic as well. I appreciate how Fletch really did have his eyes closed every time he performed until that moment in the Final Jam when he opened them. I liked that detail. The manager lady was fun and made me laugh but she sounds EXACTLY like Awkwafina so that's all I could think about every time she was in a scene. 😂 She was great though. The songs are overall quite good, could've been longer but I enjoyed them. One Beat Away and Tomorrow are my favourites, I also loved Desi's Final Jam song and Rosie's song Play It My Way. The girl who plays Rosie is called Lumi and she was in the Disney show Electric Bloom just before this movie. It was a fantastic show with loads of great singing but has been cancelled after just one season which sucks. Most shows seem to be these days. But maybe you'll watch that one day on here. I love that you noticed that they brought back the trumpet juice dispensers, no other reactor has noticed them yet lol. And Cliff was brilliant, very funny and so sweet. The best character for me too. I agree with you about him completely. Now for the negative things: I really don't like Sage much. She's meant to be the nice and sweet lead girl but she treated her brother terribly throughout the movie, she threw Fletch under the bus with the phone despite knowing that he only kept it because he arrived after registration and no one asked for it so she could've defended him instead of getting him in trouble (he wasn't mad enough about that for me) and then she apologized to him about the video but when she threw him under the bus they didn't even know about the video yet, so she should've been apologizing for telling Connie that he had a phone, the writers messed up there. And overall she just had brat energy throughout. Maybe the most unlikeable leading character in recent years. Liamani is a star with an insane voice, I loved her in HSMTMTS and in Descendants 5 but I just didn't like her character in this much. I fully agree that the Final Jam didn't have the stakes that it used to. In 1 and 2 they spent the whole movie building up to it and we saw numerous rehearsals. But in this movie we saw them rehearsing for the first parts of the competition but never for the Final Jam itself and then, as you said, after they've finished their time on the bus suddenly Final Jam is that day and I was just like you saying "wait what, that came around fast" lol. The build up and suspense just wasn't there at all. With Rosie, I felt that her story could've been done A LOT better. At the start she has that conflict with her parents who want her to be a classical musician and she wants to be a pop star, I thought this would be a great conflict. But it wasn't at all. Rosie decided literally just 10 minutes into the movie that she was going to be a pop star and that was it. There was no back and forth, no worries from her about what her parents might think and her parents didn't show up to the Final Jam to watch her perform so what was even the point of that storyline? The dark skin girl Callie should've been a MUCH bigger part of the movie. She was the best dancer by a mile, her voice was fantastic in the short verse she had in Start The Party and her and Desi actually had chemistry. But she just wasn't featured much at all and we never found out if her and Desi are together now or not. The amount of autotune at times was ridiculous. The mean trio sounded fully like robots, the actress for Rosie sounded completely different to how she did in Electric Bloom and almost sounded like she has a baby voice at points which isn't how she usually sounds at all, the guy who plays Desi has an INCREDIBLE voice in real life but again the autotune made him sound so weird etc etc. Disney always overuse autotune but in this movie it's on another level. These talented kids don't need it, at least not to this extent. Several times in the movie Sage talks about how she left her and Desi's band to go to Anthem but they never once explain what Anthem is? Is it a special performing arts school? Is it a music competition? Something else? We don't know. What they did to Play My Music annoyed me. That was, imo, the best song from the first movie. I understand that in the auditions scene it was meant to be funny and a bit of a mess. I got that. But they could've at least recorded a good version for the end credits instead of having all the main characters lip syncing over the messy audition version. The dancing in this movie is SO bad. Most people won't really notice but I danced ballroom and latin for 16 years and choreographed so I know dance and throughout the movie the dancing is sloppy, uncoordinated, mis matched, placed wrong etc. It's just not good, where's Kenny Ortega when you need him? 😂 These kids also need SERIOUS work on their lip syncing. It was off massively at times, I even spotted a few occasions when they were lip syncing completely the wrong words which I'm surprised wasn't picked up on by the directors/editors. And the amount of times they were holding the microphones away from their faces was annoying as well lol. If you're gonna do a musical movie then do it right or don't do it at all. I hope I don't sound like a bitch, I'm just passionate about musicals and Disney have done SO SO much better than this. Comparing this to Zombies 4 and Descendants 5, it doesn't come close unfortunately. I agree that Maddison wasn't a good villain. All she did was bedazzle some equipment and then film them singing. And you're right that she didn't even seem to have any real consequences, she was just sitting there watching Final Jam, shouldn't she have been banned from camp or something? And what was the reason behind her being so mean? Tess was like that because her mom ignored her and didn't give her any attention, what about this girl? What's her story? We got nothing. Talking of filming them singing, how on Earth did Maddison film the others singing in the bus from outside the bus? She had to be very close to it to record it well but they surely would've seen her. And even if not, the kids weren't allowed off the bus so why would they assume Fletch filmed the video when the video would've shown that the person filming was outside the bus? It makes no sense. Originally the guy playing Desi was cast as Liamani AKA Sage's love interest. But then Disney wanted to bring in their it kid Malachi so switched things around and made him her love interest and Desi her brother. When I heard that in an interview I was like "oh, that explains so much" because I spent this whole movie thinking that she has more chemistry with her brother than with Malachi lol. And loads of other people have said the same thing, including a few other reactors I've watched this with. Like their duet was totally giving romantic vibes rather than sibling vibes, it was a bit uncomfortable. And you guessed quite early on that it seemed like they were setting it up for the story to end with the main 5 characters becoming a group. It was SO predictable. And I didn't like that the Final Jam is supposed to be a competition but they just all won. It's a pet hate of mine when movies end with everyone winning, that's not sending the right message. As you said, in both Camp Rock 1 and Camp Rock 2 there were winners of Final Jam and both times it wasn't Mitchie/Shane like we expected. I actually think Desi should've won it based on his all round performance then they could've maybe offered a record deal or something to Sage. 💕 So yeah. Those are my thoughts. I hope I don't just sound like a negative bad person. But I loved the first two Camp Rock movies and this one really let me down. I hope everything I said here is ok with you. As for if Disney Channel will ever have a queer romance as the lead romance in a movie/TV show. I honestly don't think it'll ever happen. I hope I'll be proven wrong but unfortunately I can't see them ever going there.

Siobhan Linehan

I'd love that!! Especially the two Teen Beach Movies, they're the best. There's a third one in development as well. Disney are loving their revivals/reboots right now lol.

Oziel Dávila

Sooooo Jesly hahaha idk if you noticed but the mean girl Madison (Ava Jean) is also the lean girl in A Week Away The Series and it's curious that she has been the mean girl in 2 summer camp musical productions. And ngl, I liked the movie and I actually think the main problem (and basically difference) compared to the other 2 is the amount of characters they try to develop and have their own screen time. If you think about it CR1 is basically Shane and Mitchie, CR2 has the same + Nate's love story and now they have the core 5, the mean trio and Connect 3 in a way.

manhattan 🤗

this is my 7th time watching this movie 😭

manhattan 🤗

so idk if yk the show 90210 but hudson stone (desi) mom is lindsay price from 90210 and his dad is chef curtis stone from top chef masters. and he's 14 and was 13 when filming the movie, this was his first movie ever and he released his first song and its so good its called "overthinker" you should def listen to it. but im so irritated bc me and hudson are around the same age and he's going on a world tour and im just bed rotting 😭

manhattan 🤗

liamani is genuinely so talented and she reminds me of ariana grande like sound wise and visually. she's literally so stunning

manhattan 🤗

sorry i commented so much😭 but my critiques on this movie is that: 1. i obviously love them bringing back the old songs but i js wish they had more original songs 2. fletch and sages chemistry wasn't really there 3. brooklynn (callie) needed more scenes... 4. i didn't like how fast the movie went like we never even saw the rehearse their final jam songs like we js jumped to final jam 5. the video plot confused me bc maddie wasn't in the bus so if she took the vid from outside of the bus why would lark and connie think someone from inside the bus took the video but beside that this movie is so so so good 🥹

DPink

I just feel like the music was missing the “rock” where’s the heavy guitar the raunchy voices the heavy drums :// the only good songs was “tomorrow” and “one beat away” in my opinion. I also agree with a lot of what was said the movie was fast paced, issues were resolved fast, and we barely saw them rehearsed and then boom final jam. I didn’t like that they played like a minute/ snippet of each song, in the original they played the whole song and the stakes felt high that whole everybody wins thing is so bleh to me. But I really did love cliff I felt like he was hilarious and his scenes didn’t feel forced and I thought the romance between fletch and sage was cute but I did feel like the chemistry was off and that sage had more chemistry with desi but after hearing how he was supposed to be the lead then it made sense. I also felt like fletch/Malachi stood out like a sore thumb he just looked older than everyone like it felt like a camp instructor with the camp kids idk

Andrew Collet

I just loved your reaction to seeing Milo haha, especially after watching all your reactions to School Spirits. Yeah there's a couple plot holes that don't make the most sense, but I actually like how the movie was shot aesthetically and that made up for it to me. You can tell this was a "pass the torch to the next generation" kind of movie.

Brittany Thompson

It’s funny you said it reminded you of A Week Away because the mean girl actress is the same 😂

Yehtehe

I’m not going to lie lumi pollacks voice does not do justice here in camp rock to much autotune but her in electric bloom she’s fire she became my 2nd fav bc I love liamani in descendants and she killed it here. Disney cancelled electric bloom after just one season which upset me but the 3 girls and their vocals I love Lumi, Roby and Carmen’s vocals in it as a group they killed it sad it got cancelled.
