Happy Saturday!! It is September and you guys chose The O.C as one of the new shows for the month. I cannot wait to continue this show because I actually really do like it :)

I didn't really like the voting system. I prefer voting on here. I know you can make it so that we only get one vote on here because you done it when we watch one show for the month but I'm not sure how it work for two votes.

This is my first time watching the OC as well. I felt so bad & happy for Ryan because his mom left but he also gained a family. I hope we see her again but in a better state. Julie(Marissa's Mom) needs to go back to Riverside & get her brain checked because GIRL, are you not listening to your daughter? I thought mothers know best, she obviously has feelings for Ryan and vice versa but because he's not from Newport than he's trouble like girl please you should know better than anyone never judge someone for where they come from but how they act. Then Jimmy OH MY GOD, I don't know how someone could mess up something so bad, I agree with you on if he had a backbone & balls & told his family NO then he wouldn't be in the predicament he's in. I'm wondering with them having little money does that mean they are going to have to move out of the fancy living?(*gasp*). Kirsten grew on me with bringing Ryan home but I'm watching her and Jimmy. Seth is so funny & PLEASE let him & Anna workout because she's literally his dream girl but a little bit more fun plus her and Ryan could be friends. I think nobody should be with anybody & just be friends but that's not how television but PLEASE NO MORE LOVE TRIANGLES(" I'm tired of this grandpa.") Also shoutout to Ryan for not dropkicking the hell out of Luke for that punch in the stomach. p.s I think Ryan is hotter than Lucas(OTH)/// Just my opinion. Happy September!

I’m really starting to understand why people love this show because there’s already so much going on after only 4 episodes! Ryan and Seth’s dynamic is probably my favorite part so far. I also really like how Sandy doesn’t treat him like some broken kid that needs fixing, he actually treats him like a person. Kirsten is growing on me too because even though she does have lapses in judgment, I feel like she’s trying to protect her family while also slowly realizing Ryan isn’t what she thought he was. Julie on the other hand is really starting to annoy me with how she treats Ryan, especially considering she didn’t exactly come from a perfect or privileged background herself. The way she immediately judges him because of where he comes from is frustrating. And Seth is killing me every episode 😭 he might be my favorite too. Also I’m sorry but Marissa needs better people around her because GIRL!

Well you know me and my many suggestions lol I thought about this you know how normally we vote on least ten different potential shows to watch right? How about two different polls? One poll with five shows, and the other one with the other five's shows. That way we all still get two votes because it's on two different polls. If that make sense.

This was so great, I love it. Seth is so adorble, I love him and I when I first started watching this I was afraid he was gonna be this typical rich kid, but he wasn't and I love that, and his sense of humor is great. I love the friendship between Seth and Ryan, they really are like brother, what I also love is how Kristen was the one who took Ryan home and made the decision he needs to stay. I feel bad for Marissa, with her dad now and her mom being so controlling over her. Julie is so freaking anoying. I hate how she acts like she's better than everyone, but girl no, you are worse, you are so rude, please stop trying to control your daugther's life. There indeed is something about Ryan, he's such a sweetheart and really means well and is really trying to do better, I love him. Summer is indeed really rude and mean at the start, but I promise, she get's better. And then the whole thing with Jimmy, He got himself into this, dude, learn to say no, it's not that hard and he deserved that punch in my opinion, maybe not in front all those people, but man, you made your bed, now lie in it. I love Sandy, he pulls no punches when it comes to defending kids in the system and I love that.

also i wanted to ask this since y'know we watching different shows every month now like have you thought about just doing a wheel spin for that too, and whatever two shows it land on like that what you watch for the month? I know you like us to vote on it but when we get the shows to 15+ likes to be added like that a way of voting right there y'know and I know you said you like spinning the wheel so I just thought about that.

If Luke first interaction with Ryan was watching Marissa leave him for Ryan, then I’d understand the hostility a little more. But that’s not what happened. All we’ve seen is Luke being mean to Ryan because Ryan wouldn’t sit there and let him and his friends bully Seth. And the money situation? I understand the circumstances, especially since they’re neighbors and still in each other’s lives, but if my husband got money from his ex, I would not be happy. I’d understand the explanation and still be sitting there like, “Okay... I still don’t like this.” Also, Summer isn’t even in the opening credits. She wasn’t originally supposed to be a main character, but the audience loved her and she became one later. That’s probably the biggest difference between her, Jackie, and Brooke. Jackie and Brooke were planned as long-term characters from the beginning. Summer was supposed to be temporary, which honestly explains a lot about her behavior in the beginning of the series because she wasn't supposed to be around for a long time. Idk there's something about 2000s 'mean girl' that we love like Jackie, Brooke, Summer all fan favorites BUT SETHMER. I am SO invested in these two. Seth and Summer are what Haley and Nathan are to you. This is MY ship. I need them together. I need the awkwardness. I need the banter. I need everything. And THEN I find out the actors dated in real life for THREE YEARS while filming the show??? Now I’m watching every Sethmer scene like, “Wait a minute... why is this chemistry feeling a little TOO natural?” I’m sorry, but I’m seated. I also forgot that we met 'Anna' this early.

Yes, that's Noah from Nobody Wants This. He left Gilmore Girls to film this. I was upset for years. YEARS, I tell ya. Then in 2024, I watched The OC for the first time, and all was forgiven. I love Seth. The theme song is California by Phantom Planet. Anything millennial-coded, I got you. babe.

Comparing luke to Nathan is criminal. Seth is absolutely hilarious and I can't help but love summer even though she can be bitchy sometimes or most of the time. It's so cool rewatching so many shows with you that I watched growing up. I also think this show is written so much better than oth
