[Tier 2] Animation 7 WIP #3 | Scenes & Updates (Patreon)

The visuals are almost done. All I have to do is animate the second scene, but the problem is I ignored all warnings I gave myself to not use cycles after my last animation. So now I have to suffer the eternal wait of each frame taking over 3 minutes to render... After this project I probably won't use cycles for a while because the wait is just too long. Eevee has its own problems but taking 50 hours to render one scene is kind of ridiculous lol.So far, the animation is projected to be a little over 2 minutes long. Once I finish rendering the final scene and the whole intro scene I can then work on and render the second scene. One big problem this animation has though is lighting flickers on sticky liquids, which is included in various scenes. Up close it is very noticeable and I couldn't find a fix for it, so sadly it is just kind of there... I am pretty sure I know what caused it (Me being a beginner with fluid painter) But fixing it now would require me to re-render pretty much everything and I just sadly don't have the time for that. Here is a gif showcasing the animation for part of the intro after Karlach opens the door:
Here is a gif showcasing the rough idea for the transition for the final scene:
And here is the rendered version of the beginning which shows the flickering I was talking about:
It is very unfortunate but I think what caused it was that I would paint all the fluid then merge it to the mesh using surface deform, which basically makes the fluid move and recalculate where it is supposed to be every frame, based on any little movement that the character mesh does. I have not tested it, but I think a fix would be to re-paint all the fluids but in much smaller sizes then attach them using vertex groups instead of the surface deform.
