What's progress without failure? (WIP, sketch) (Patreon)

So getting back to my usual methods of drawing, I've been batting around some ideas of my eastern dragon characters because I really want to draw them more, but I have too many ideas and not enough ways to actually put those scenes on paper! I started one, in which Farund the youngest was the central subject, but after getting started, I realized the scene I had in my head wasn't exactly possible.

So do what with it? Transform it into something else! I ended up changing one segment of it, then another one to compensate, then another, and bit by bit, it became a whole new scene. But instead of using my characters, I used another long scaly boy I've always had the hots for: Shenron, from DBZ! Big, old, wise, powerful, angry, but if you've earned your wish (and he can fulfill it), then it shall be granted!

It's kinda like wishing for more wishes. What do you wish for after you've collected all the Dragon Balls? More dragon balls. XD

So what do you think, guys? Good idea?
