Ready Eddy's Secret S*xts [Sketch, WIP] (Patreon)

Lots of people come to me presenting characters because they think I'll like them and consider them as a subject for art. Whether or not the urge to draw them strikes me isn't exactly consistent, however, even if I like the character in question! There's a lot of factors that go into whether or not I want to draw a character, and explaining what they all are is quite difficult and cryptic even for myself.

A little while ago, a friend showed me some advertisements involving a cute dragon mascot for a instant breakfast called Ready Brek named Ready Eddy. He didn't stick around long, mostly a product of the 90s. Almost immediately, an idea popped in my head for a mascot that quickly and quietly disappeared from advertising material due to some scandal he committed involving inappropriate behavior that reflected poorly on his employers. Where other suggested characters failed to move my stylus, for this guy, that spark of inspiration put it to work.

And that's the premise of this series of doodles! Eddy showing off the goods as part of a series of bawdy texts he sent a fan that were leaked to the public. It also allows me to come up with fun dialogue (you know how much I love fun dialogue) and a cheesy corporate statement detailing his firing to back it up. =P
