I'm so proud of you! (Patreon)

Earlier this week I learned that WWF Australia is doing a fundraising to save the koalas. 95% of our koalas are gone and they could be extinct by 2050 if we don't act now. You probably already know that I'm incredibly passionate about our planet and the animals in it so I knew it'd be a great honour to do try and raise money for them together with you. I set a goal for A$500, honestly thinking it might be a stretch, that we might not make it - especially in one stream. I really tried to think of fun incentives that could make it feel extra worth to support the koalas and help restore their homes and held my fingers that we could do it.

Never in my wildest dream did I think we'd end up at A$1855 in one stream! A 13 hour stream mind you, but nonetheless one stream. Jashy said this beautiful quote "saving the world one species at a time" and I swear it's the most beautiful thing I want it as my slogan forever!! Honestly the dream.

I'm so proud of you all, so so so proud. Proud to be the mama of a community that is this loving, supportive and generous. And if donating actually isn't/wasn't possible, don't worry there's so many ways to support what and who you believe in. Sharing, awareness and being there is wonderful ways. 

We have officially "finished" our fundraising, but my heart is so pulled to the idea of us reaching A$2000 now that we're so close to that. So if you actually do have some monies to spare that you'd like to put to WWF's work on planting 10k plants to begin with to restore koalas homes, then you can do that right here.

But honestly if we stop right here I'm so more than happy with it. We almost multiplied our initial goal times four! (WUT?)

We also reached some fun milestones through this fundraising and the one for Save the Children fundraising we had recently. I'll be doing two guitar covers, Country Roads and Big Girls Don't Cry! A remix of the song from my very first music video "I've Had It". But also some more "meme"-like funny milestones like a sexy Bob Ross cosplay and Janami and I actually starting the hentai patron we've been joking about. I'm also sending out several parcels that were incentives for this fundraising.

Again, huge thanks for everyone involved in this. I love you so much. I'm absolutely exhausted ngl haha, so I'll be making myself a cup of tea now and snuggle my pebble.
