I know you bring up Kath & Kim in this episode, and as a supplement to watching the show, watching the Queens Who Like To Watch episode where Trixie and Katya watch Kath and Kim is a true delight.

The way I screamed when this came up in my podcast app!

Jenny Maurer

We watched this one when I visited my friend in college as a high school senor

Is this the absolute best movie y’all have ever covered?? 😍

J Kyle Wilsor

Thank you, Chris, for the “tellurrhoid” joke I was grasping for 😂

Haven't finished the episode yet but I also screamed when I saw it in my feed. One of my favorite all time movies, great to re-visit it. I feel like I outgrew Baz after Moulin Rouge and just couldn't get into Australia, completely skipped Gatsby and just tolerated Elvis.

I watched this movie on a red eye plane flight in 1993 knowing nothing about it, and remember just fully VIBRATING with joy while also trying not to wake anyone up around me.

Love the Aus talk! Our media is weird! Only a third through ep but our TV (through public state funded broadcasting) is much stronger and more accessible. Working Dog company came from that and made The Castle and the Dish which are our non-horror/indie drama highlights. They still have the bonkers humour but with an amped up sweetness

That's not Fran's mother, that's her grandmother! I saw this in the movie theater in 1993 and it's been one of my favorites ever since. h Joe, bring up SYTYCD as often as you want. It makes me happy too.

As a geriatric millennial, I appreciated Chris' fancam explanation. Has anyone done a figure skating routine inspired by the pase doble finale number? It would kill! I still watch Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir's "Moulin Rouge" routine whenever I need a good cry.

Also Labor party is slightly more left than democrat so yeah, he's fine

As a proud Aussie Gary I loved this episode. Please give us an update on your ‘Kath & Kim’ experience. Please can you get an Aussie guest on when you discuss Aussie films. I would like to volunteer lol

This movie is dear to my heart, it’s been a family favorite for years! I had the soundtrack and everything ❤️

I LOVED all the SYTYCD talk. This sent me down a rabbit hole of my favorite ballroom routines. I never was taken away by any of the Paso Doble numbers. Generally loved most Argentine Tangos - and Chelsie and Mark's (one of my all time favorite couples) were a good example of when they tried to start merging styles with the music (https://youtu.be/6IBTGRDQgYo?si=KADLuP84ryW8aDV8)

I lived in LA for 12 years and my best celebrity encounter was walking by Cat Deeley on a 3rd Street café patio, and time literally seemed to slow down with an air machine blowing her hair. It was incredible. Well, maybe that's second to the time I saw Danny Pudi (around community season 3) in a trader Joe's parking lot and I couldn't stop myself from exclaiming - "oh! Danny Pudi! You've been so snubbed by the Emmys!" And he pumped his fist and yelled "maybe next year."

Aussie Gary here and I have always heard Tara Morice’s surname pronounced Mor-REECE but I don’t know if that’s just my friend group saying it wrong?
