Hey gang,

To celebrate hitting guild status, I wanted to run a fun poll.

Besides the MC, who is your favorite side character and why? Cast your vote and let us know why in the comments :D

Poor Reece’s mom. Even I didn’t vote for her.

Rembrant because he is a badass. I really enjoy that you added variance to the different types of rpg themes in one story.

Chad Buchanan

Aiko because her character seemed a little more complex. Her motivations in the first book weren't so clear cut. She's an amazing fighter, but she's flawed too, she has a bit of an edge, she suffers from PTSD.

I know this wasn't about the MC, but I really thought his disability was a great idea to develop his character. I know Reece's mom isn't getting a lot of love on this thread, but I think she has a lot of potential for the same reason. Triumph over adversity, over serious illness really draws me in as a reader. I start to really empathize and get invested into their story.

Looks like Rembrandt has it folks :D

My favorite is Gilly followed by Reece's mom in close second. The reason for Gilly is just that I love her personality and how she's always so upbeat and positive. Reece's mom comes in that close second for similar reasons but for her it's how her personality and love for her sons reminds me SOOO much of my own mom who I lost a few years ago and reading about her reminds me of my mom in a way that makes me feel all the good stuff about her but doesn't really start making me sad until I stop to start analysing my feelings more deeply.
