Will there be a quiz next week? Unless you provide a copy of your time graph, I'll make sure to bring my notepad 🤣🤣 I didn't get a chance to comment on the Season 2 finale reaction, but I am part of the group that never read the manga but fell in love with the show as it aired. I enjoyed the ambiguity of the final scene of S2, but I was also excited to see what story would be told in Season 3. I feel like the smaller number of episodes may have hurt the storytelling a bit for Season 3. However, we do get some answers that I feel help round out the whole series. Your point on Japanese stories in different mediums having similar concepts of city-wide destruction made me immediately think of the Godzilla franchise (and other kaiju films). The original 1954 movie was basically a metaphor for the effects of an atomic bomb, according to the producer and director. I think AiB puts a modern lens on this type of fear towards impending death and total destruction through the theme of our humanity in its most basic form of love and how we've been treating each other and the planet. Really excited to close out this series with ya! P.S. Your immediate downbadism for a hottie is impeccable. 🤭🤭🤭

idk if someone has said it, but there was a 3 year gap in releasing the 3rd season is because tao (usagi) was pregnant! she started filming around 3-4 months after she gave birth 🤯
