Not to jump the gun but I seriously think this is my favourite BL ever… Gemini fourth have stolen my heart since moonlight chicken and this is EXACTLY what I wanted from them… like is giving the feeling I had with HeartLiming but like x1000 The music continues to be one of my favourite things about this show, truly transcends the BL genre for me and it FILMMM Every episode I genuinely forget how to BREATHE Growing up gay and Christian I know this would hit really hard but wow this is transcending anything I could’ve imagined If they fuck up the landing I’ll never forgive them but truly the hopes are high based on the quality so far I’ve been too busy to watch the eps before u post ur reaction so I’ve been watching it for the first time with you and your insights are incredible, trying enjoying it 🫶🫶

Barth is so far gone like this whole episode was him being like “baby please it’s not what it looks like” “it’s not like that” “baby you know i only i have eyes for you” and i was SAT for every single second. Tanrak needed all the reassurance despite them having this unspoken connection, the addition of his turmoil with religion to the jealousy and heteronormativity was making him spiral even more, so Barth reassuring him and then confessing at this point takes two big uncertainties out of it. Barth is gay (so Tanrak he wasn’t projecting) and Barth does like him back. In his BONES Tanrak was aware of both things like Barth knew the same about him, but the way everyone around him was talking about Cherry and Barth and girls, made Tanrak doubt himself and their relationship.

Literally have not stopped thinking about this episode since it aired 😭 first of all. All the symbolism is sooo crazy P'Aof I need to study your brain please. Second of all I'll be singlehandedly starting Geminifourth's Emmy campaigns because they are giving us PERFORMANCES. They've always had great natural chemistry but the tension and desire constantly underlying all of their interactions in this show is magical. The way they both have always portrayed young love masterfully but in this series they+P'aof make it a point that it's the whole experience, including the sexual and the butterflies and both are pivotal...🚬 I also eally loved how this episode further drives home how Barth is literally just a boy with a crush. He's sooooo soft with Tanrak even when he's teasing him and you can tell Tanrak is so in his head but Barth gets him to let go UGHHHH they make me want to gnaw on a piece of wood. Also i'm so glad you caught on to the fact that Tanrak's jealousy isn't even necessarily about it being Cherry, but the idea of a woman in general. So good literally 10/10 no notes

this is such a breathtaking episode ive had to watch it every day ever since it came out. i cant even put into coherent words how it made me feel. im so beyond glad that gemfourth were the ones chosen for this project; fourth has always been one of my favorite actors (from gmm but also in general) there's something so special about the way he acts. and gemini has truly outdone himself in this role. wonderful work all around, from the acting, the cinematography, the music, the dialogue, the symbolism... im not too worried about the ending to be honest, because these three episodes so far have been some of the best work i've ever seen, so even if, for some reason, the ending lands terribly, it still won't take away from the rest of the show i believe, even if it would be pretty disappointing

Yes I was coming here to say that he took the words out of my mouth that when Tanrak sees Barth with Cherry, its not just jealousy. It's seeing him with a woman and thinking that's the way it should be. Great episode.

I am not even a Gemini/Fourth stan, but this is absolute cinema. Hope they stick the landing because then it'll for be up there for gmmtv's best.

I think Tanrak truly believes he is not God's favorite son more so because God took his parents to Heaven, but left him. So maybe part of his contemplation this episode is him thinking that him liking boys is the reason God didn't take him with them. The beginning highlighted the word "lust" which is a big theme of this episode and Tanrak seeing Barth with Cherry definitely highlights how his sudden attraction for Barth could be taking away from Barth's potential for a wholesome love. But I think it's important to note how Tanrak and Barth aren't rushing with a lust to possess or objectify each other, but rather they are patiently learning to love each other. Pope Francis explained it best in his catechesis in January 2024: "To love is to respect the other, to seek his or her happiness, to cultivate empathy for his or her feelings, to dispose oneself in the knowledge of a body, a psychology, and a soul that are not our own, and that must be contemplated for the beauty they bear. That is love, and love is beautiful. Lust, on the other hand, makes a mockery of all this: lust plunders, it robs, it consumes in haste, it does not want to listen to the other but only to its own need and pleasure; lust judges every courtship a bore, it does not seek that synthesis between reason, drive and feeling that would help us to conduct existence wisely. The lustful seek only shortcuts: they do not understand that the road to love must be travelled slowly, and this patience, far from being synonymous with boredom, allows us to make our loving relationships happy." (https://www.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/audiences/2024/documents/20240117-udienza-generale.html) I also feel like Tanrak needs to experience more connections to people and especially with love before becoming a priest, if he follows through with it, because they’re daily life revolves around serving and caring for others. I completely agree with you on Kong being the one to get ordained at the end, but a part of me worries about something happening to Tanrak because if that's the case why did he not pull up with Barth??? Kong has definitely been the one to keep everyone in order and makes kind moves even when his own best friend seems to be pushing him away. His family and home town is very catholic too... we'll just have to stay hopeful lol
