You could say that this series leans into every K-drama trope. Yet, the reality for teenagers like Kang Bi O is even harsher. These youths have no way to escape the pressure of music competitions; from a very young age, they are taught that earning the praise of their parents and grandparents by making them proud is the ultimate achievement. When these gifted teenagers—accompanied by their parents—come to Europe for music studies and competitions, the families now discover that it is possible to lead a happy life, even while pursuing ambitious goals. Absurdly, the parents often react by getting angry at their children for failing to enjoy their lives, accusing them of being UNGRATEFUL. I’m not suggesting that this is the case in every such family, but I feel such deep empathy for these young people—and whenever I think about the cruel methods used to keep these youths compliant, it just breaks my heart.

The main character is in this drama are some of the most well-thought-out that I’ve seen in a K drama in a long time. Like I might not always agree with their actions, but based on the character’s background, I can always understand the choice they made. Except the grandpa. Fuck him

In case you didn't notice, in the scene where they were playing the piano (at the location where he used to play with his mom), they exchanged clothes. If you notice, Pio was wearing the gray hoodie, but it changes to black. Jeongyo ends up wearing Pio's sweater. Keep this in mind for the next episode! It's a cute detail
