Omg you need to watch Life in Smokey Blue then they are both 40 😌

This show is so good at pulling you DEEP IN (literally). Like, if it wasn't for the lighting change and the aspect ratio, I'd probably forget we're watching a show within a show. Also, idk if you noticed, but the guy playing Justin isn't Wu, its a different actor.

Similar to your dream thing, I once had a dream that I was pregnant with twins and apparently even in my dream, one of my first panic thoughts was "how am I going afford raising twins AND all my kpop stuff?!?" And I woke up being like "thank god! Ok that confirms I should not be having kids yet" 🤣

Just got home from getting a filling at the dentist, mouth still numb as hell, and that old man yaoi rant has me in tears, laughed so hard I bit my tongue (on account of the numbing) this is dangerous work guys 😭

I was not going to rewatch this again but saw you were reacting to it and changed my mind. I love how the two stories really start blurring at this point with both couples using their circumstances as a cover for their feelings - the psychiatrist getting too close to his patient but saying it's just treatment, the actors getting too close and calling it devotion to their roles. I didn't notice before how the roles are subtly reversed. In the show inside the show, it's Gao Zhun who wants to talk about his feelings for Feng Chi while Dr Feng just keeps saying 'I'm just treating you!' But in the 'main' story it's Zhen Xin who wants to talk about what they're really doing, while Zhang Zhun is stubbornly insisting he's just acting. I also really like how the actors keep blurring the lines themselves, using the movie lines or character references to edge closer together. It's just so good!
