There were so many of those McLeans toothpaste adverts made at the time. I dare say they're on YouTube somewhere, if anyone could bare to hear that ruddy jingle over and over again. Nice video, by the way.

Great episode, the whole thing screams late sixties at me much more than early seventies, so I think it's closer to your 1969 estimate. I did a little googling and found that Wood Nymph ad dated as 1967 by someone on youtube. (Also I haven't had my associate producer credit for the last three episodes. Still all very enjoyable though. Just thought I'd mention it.)
