This took a while. In fact the original plan was for it to appear last year but I had a bit of a breakdown FOR SOME REASON THAT I DO NOT WISH TO TALK ABOUT - which was actually a benefit because it gave Glenn, whose idea it was to remake it in the first place, time to expand the scope and find even the most obscure materials. I'm talking about issues of the TV Post and the Teledu Cymru magazine. He's the Sherlock Holmes of lost media, and that's why I gave him full producer credit. That and it was his idea. Say "thank you, Glenn". Anyway the result was the biggest single video I've ever made, both in time and sheer filesize - it's 8 and a half gigs and took four and a half hours to render. So enjoy it or I'll kill you. The dirty smelly public will see it on Monday.

Oh, and this year's Christmas Wrapping should be out Christmas Eve as usual, all other things being equal.

Thanks to all involved and a merry Christmas.

'The Reindeer' on the cover of the 1968 'Extra' is almost certainly a pastiche of The Beatles, such as they looked in the 1967 One World programme. Judging by the Ringo of the group, they're probably performing All You Need Is Love...

Well done to all involved for all the effort that was made. I hope you'll take the next comment in the spirit that's intended, but I wonder if it might have been better to split the video into, say, three parts - a bit like the original Christmas Wrapping videos? There was a lot of information to take in there, covering several decades. It might have been benefited from a 'leave 'em wanting more' approach if each part had dealt with a couple of decades each. Easy for me to say, I know, given that I haven't just spend days and days producing the thing, but I thought the feedback might be of some interest to you.
