I'm also charging for this because I forgot to charge for the last Hard Sell earlier. Also the last Rule the Waves. I'll get on that. Sorry about making this month slightly more expensive for you.

You’ve really touched my humour strings, as ever! This episode has truly set me upon wing of nostalgia, as this particular iteration of the CBC ident represents - together with episodes of The Friendly Giant, Sesame Street, and Mr. Dressup - my very earliest televisual memories!

Ed Batey Jr.

Don't forget The Racoons cartoon series.

Forget? Impossible! Other programmes which spring immediately to mind are Babar (whose mother’s death always turned me into an unstoppable sobbing machine), Fred Penner’s Place, The National with news anchor Knowlton Nash, the themes for Venture and Hockey Night in Canada etc. etc.

Andrew Coldrick

The fact that a show called The National had a guy named Knowlton Nash as its host feels like a particularly visible blip in the space-time continuum.
