I don't know - maybe their choice of movie could have been better but as said, someone had to be different, not that it would have mattered either way. I'd have quite liked to see the BARB ratings that day though.

This was brilliant, and you did it beautifully and tastefully Matthew. The BBC definitely knew what was happening on the afternoon of the 8th, they've prepared for this for decades, refining it every so often. I was in Edinburgh on the 13th to collect some VHS tapes and to see David Cronenberg's Crimes of the Future, and it was bedlam there because she was lying in state at St. Giles Cathedral. I was lucky to have got home, let alone get there. I love the choice of the Windsor Light font, both a nod to the Royals and Woody Allen films at the same time. ;-)
