I recommend when you finish this/aot, you should consider demon slayer for the indomitable hero spirit and awesome animated fights. Vinland Saga is also another anime with a good story line, like aot. Third i recommend watching fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, its just good:)

The voice actors for yuji and mahito are so good in this ep, not that they aren’t anyway

Yeah all the jjk music has an official release on Spotify 🙌🏼 think most of this seasons music is out

Matthew Valentine

In yujis last hour in shibuya he learned Gojo got sealed, lost a fight against choso, got memories of sukunas murderous rampage, saw nanami pop like a water balloon and now saw nobara essentially get shot in the face.

I think he’d love FMA and Vinland, ESPECIALLY Vinland since it is more serious and stoic ala AoT. That said, FMA is probably the most complete anime I’ve ever seen

Armando

When I was reading the manga, I was in total disbelief.

next episode is PEAK

I recommend you watch the last ep of season 1 and listen to Yuji and Nobara’s conversation. It ties in with the chairs scene in this ep.

I told Jon that Demon Slayer and Vinland would be the perfect combo of action/amazing animation with a cool story, with Vinland as the AOT replacement regarding storyline and plot.

i do not think he would like demon slayer at all. because of all the silly moments that it has unfortunately

I love JJK, one of my favorite new anime’s out… I think Jon you would enjoy a very masterful anime with Vinland Saga(if you’re interested in Vikings and their environment)

Aardvark

Yeah if you search jujutsu kaisen in Spotify, there should be playlists with the whole season’s soundtracks. Same with aot

Hunter x hunter is peak

Chainsaw Man should be your next show

Katame

She hold her hand over her eye in the opening foreshadowing her death

Zimm

AOT was luckily my first anime and thankfully doesn’t have the “cutesy face changing moments.” My least favorite part of anime’s are those moments bc it definitely throws the tone off. I still loved JJK and other anime’s that have it just not those specific moments. Vinland Saga Fate: Zero Chainsaw Man Solo Leveling (new show) These are shows I’ve personally watched and recommend to try if you want to avoid the “cutesy faces” stuff in future anime shows👍

Are you going to finish cyberpunk?

Yuji Glazer

I see a lot of demon slayer recommendations. Based on your criticisms of JJK I would not recommend watching it. It is an extremely silly show compared to JJK - like, small children would enjoy it silly. It can be annoying & hard to take seriously at times. On the other hand, the animation is top tier, the fights are hype and emotional story beats are executed perfectly. Maybe you’d want to try watching a few episodes before committing to a full series reaction. Vinland Saga, however, is an incredible storyline/character development focused show that seems to be more in line with your tastes. You should consider that show as well.
