The process breakdown video is up! (This has to be record time too :))

Putting colors everywhere is not my usual forte, but I have to say it's still quite fun! Here we mostly take a look at the flow of thought throughout this piece, and all the tough lessons being learnt.

Chief among them being taking more care when learning from references! Sometimes the first impression of a particular pose can actually be quite misleading, so it's always good to measure with not only your eyes but with the brush.

As always, your thoughts, feedback and comments are really valuable, so please do share them with me below! ♥ Thank you so much for your kind support truly, and I'll see you very soon!

Thank you again for showing us your process and being so thorough. I love seeing how it begins, and then it's so satisfying following as the end result slowly come to light. It has me wonder, on the storytelling side, if Max and Mia aren't undercover, "owning" the restaurant and trouble keeps finding them there, hence the smashed burgers because it always ends in a fight? lol They're so cool, it's easy to make up ideas! I'd love to know if you have a whole story behind them or if you're still thinking about it behind the scenes! Great work again! :D

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on them as always! That's a really very cool way to look at what we've got currently! :) Poor burgers though... always not being consumed the way they are intended. I'd love to continue exploring what they do for a living - possibly some kind of courier service smuggling contraband perhaps. I'd love to see where the visuals will take me next :D

I do have an extra question if that's ok? Not related to the piece itself, but I'd like to make a small art book of my own with my art. It'll be something small and personal, maybe a couple for friends. But I've only worked in RGB so far. Do you simply switch each piece for publishing into CMYK or do you work in CMYK right away? <3 Thank you!

It makes sence that the reference couldn't be translated easily since their bodies are so different, you're right. yet the final result looks very good imo (Mia looks extra cool this time) Maybe its too personal, but Id like to know more about you! How did you start your art journey, what were your first pieces, what your most impactfull or most proud of pieces. Does AI impact your work? There is so much Id like to talk about or ask, but I feel hesitant and its probalby too much for a comment anyway..

Thanks for your work! I have a question about drawing when you're busy doing other things (in your case it's this booth event) do you have like some kind of sketchbook/tablet where you draw when you have free time ? & Are you working on a "finished" piece or maybe exploring ideas with some loose sketches ?

I've been following you for a while, but this is my first time subscribing, and the process you use and the explanations are incredible. I hope to absorb it and improve my own art. I'm looking forward to the next part.

Sorry for my late reply! Thank you for the kind words - To answer your questions, I got started because I couldn't play my usual video games and was looking for something to entertain myself, and looked to drawing as a way to kill time! I think my personal favorites have to be series illustrations that cover a short story, for individual pieces I really like the city strolling piece for Irena and Yin! I make it a point to draw as I would without letting external factors affect me mentally. I'd imagine it does in some way or the other, but it doesn't affect how I would approach my own work. If you'd like to read in more detail, I've written about my journey thus far in the two current artbooks :)

That's a really good question and a reminder to manage my time :) Since I am used to using a really small Wacom tablet that's pretty portable in the first place, I just need to bring my laptop along to give me a reasonable setup to do some drawing. Although from experience, events like these take up quite a bit of time and energy that leaves you creatively pretty drained even in the evenings when things wrap up... I'd love to get to a point where I can still keep up with drawing though even when I'm away for a bit :)

Thank you kindly! I hope all this material is helpful to you in some way or another!

That's interesting! I'm slowly going through all the patreon posts (from old to new), so I'm sure I will find that piece :) should I just buy the books on amazon or do you have your own shop or something like that?
