The mega tutorial continues! I had to compress things a little bit more this time to make sure we cover a bit more meaningful ground. It's a  bit of a compromise, but hopefully I'll still be able to achieve my goal of showing everyone a full "slice" of each stage in the process. As always, feel free to ask any related questions and tell me any feedback you have :)Thank you so much for your support as always, and happy holidays (and new year!)

I have a question that popted into my mind while watching the video. Do you use a soft brush or a smudge tool for the skin on the face? I just can't get the same smooth skin as you, so I need help. And thank you for the answer in advance.

your art reminds me so much of video game-esque environments... its perfect. im curious whats your favorite video game/games?

for faces , when you put down that horizontal line where the tear-ducts go, is that about halfway between the top of the head and chin?

Thank you and looking forward to next year!

Nice! Just wondering would you be able to put all the mega tutorial videos into one file or create a playlist for us to watch more conveniently? Thank you~

guweiz

You're very welcome!

guweiz

Yes, I do use a mix of soft airbrush and smudge a little bit when removing edges on the face!

guweiz

That's a tough one, going by hours it's probably factory games and rts, but visually I really enjoyed a lot of those story based fps games like Bioshock back in the day- and the art direction is still impressive today!

guweiz

Yes, it's roughly there

guweiz

I'll make a youtube playlist once it's all done!

Hello Guweiz! I've been binge-watching your videos recently and I can't thank you enough for how helpful it is! Thank you for the hard work! I was wondering if you'd make a "guide" on making fanarts(?). I know it's more straight forward, the design is already there etc, but I'm really curious of how you tackle fanart :) It's been a longg while since your last fanart (or at least from your uploads). I'm looking forward to it! if you do decide to make one. Thanks! (Oh and happy new year! I wish you a better and healthier year :)

Thank you!! Also I wondered if you could, one day, share with us a palette of the tones/colors you usually use for your work? If you haven’t already ofc

I watched the all mega tutorials and learn many skills. Thank you make this series. Because keep to draw and speak the mind clearly is so rare and expensive . That is a big challenge. So, thank you very much again. I believe everyone want to know how draw the portrait composition also. Maybe can talk some "style" about portrait and process tutorials in next mega series.
