Mantis has got the jungle fever. Savage Hela will allow it this once...

My power decided to go out for most of the day yesterday as soon as I was close to posting this so I had to do it today instead. It sucks that it did because it cut down on how much time I could work on the monthly which was already gonna be somewhat short but oh well. WIP of that should be coming soon. I plan to get a pubic hair version out soon.

*Tech Notes*

Animation

For the actual animation aspect i mainly did a lot of cleanup since I last showed the WIP. I added some more unique movements (mostly noise) and made sure that Mantis wasn't too far or too close to Hela. I didn't really mention in the WIP but I had the added idea of Hela's dong flopping all the way back to Manti's balls just cause. I was pleasantly surprised and how the slick materials looked in the final result.

Materials and Models

You may have recognized it but a few animations ago I added those slick materials directly to the dongs I use so now when I use them, I can easily just turn it on or off so that will save me time having to do it each time. I've been looking in general to upgrade my arsenal by adding and doing things that I can use in every animation. I actually also want to try switching my dong model and trying another one. I never knew where the NYL dong model came from and couldn't find it individually so I just went to one of his full character models and ripped it out of that one. Got rid of all extra materials, rigged bones, change the weight painting a tad and I think I got something I can use just fine. I never really thought to deconstruct a model like that since I'm a bit of a noob in certain areas but it was pretty easy with the knowledge I had I suppose.

Visuals

I think I got the main points across on my previous tech notes for the WIP. The lighting didn't change much but I had to add some more fill lights for spots I thought were too dark. In post production in Davinci, I decided to add some film grain. I rarely use the effect but for the jungle environment I feel that it helps to make it look a bit more gritty. I moved the trees around where I think it helped the scene and thought about the idea of them blowing in the wind. I didn't bother trying it cause I think I would have had a research a thing or two on the best way to do it. I've actually used a blown wind effect only once ever before in my Briar and Miss fortune ship animation. The sails in the background ship were pushed by a wind generator that Blender has. Two issues with the trees however is that they are many parts instead of a single sail and I would need to worry about looping them for the animation. (I could probably do it but it's not worth the time trade off right now)
