Its funny how (aside from the purposes of us not being able to answer for MC) the band doesn't actually listen, they just assert how MC feels or should feel. They take it as a ploy or personal offence that people think the band is splitting instead of questioning what their showing to make people think that. “MC is strong” and “MC is fine” without ever giving MC room to express otherwise (aint that interesting? and definitely going to blow up in their faces when their hypocrisy and lack of attentiveness and willingness to sacrifice MC or anyone else *COUGH* Seven *COUGH* is brought to light 😀)

To be fair, if MC was going to air out grievances, doing it in an interview on camera would be the worst place to do it. Though, (excluding how it’s a part of the medium that MC can’t talk as much as the other characters because the player isn’t controlling them and answers could be OOC) they do certainly talk over MC in even more innocuous questions which they don’t have an excuse for. Like the moment where they mistake the question being about the Valenreign diner pictures instead of the Week 2 challenge vote or the disagreement about Seven during the staged conversation. Even if they thought the question was about the diner pictures, not letting MC just answer on their own because that situation didn’t have anything to do with the rest of the band members is intrusive.

Imagine MC putting them on blast during the interview 😭 At least they would finally have to listen. Totally agree though, MC’s feeling don't matter unless its in relation to how it affects the band. When Rowan ask how MC feels during Triples party its in relation to how it’ll affect their progress, and beyond that, his concern is just about the rest of the tour. They don't care to look into MC’s actual thoughts, because they would rather rely on nostalgia and the dynamics THEY want the band to have

Tbh, I don’t think it’s that Rowan doesn’t care, it’s that he’s afraid to look deep and realize he doesn’t know mc anymore. And he doesn’t want to face that with the tour on top of everything. Not to say they’re not relying on nostalgia or that they aren’t bulldozing over mc. The band would just rather ignore everything that could be wrong. Tbh I don’t think the band ever learned conflict resolution and I think Orion should host a workshop on it

So many of my questions were answered 🥰🥰 Tell me Why I got so weirdly giddy for a fictional rockstar to answer my question LMAO (g is one of my favorite characters of all time btw I think about them often. I play w Griffin bc playing w my cis man mc and breaking up a lesbian marriage felt very gross but I do love the added layers of difference between Griffin and Gina. blorbo of the year) And also I immediately felt so bad for my August ask… I really can’t wait to see more of their arc. also speaking of attachment or detachment, it makes me sad seeing seven so uneasy about recognizing their role in genuinely helping avina and in turn SV too to be closer, when usually they're so quick to be smug and take credit when it comes to their band's musical success. I wonder if it's because they never meant to get that involved with new people or don't want to/struggle to accept they had a positive impact?? OR I'm reading too much into it and maybe it is just humility or they simply don't want to talk about their relationships on camera 😆😆

Yeah it was funny to read the band section as someone whose MC has attachment as their highest stat lmao. She's clinging onto them no matter how they treat her 😭. About Seven's reaction, initially I saw it as their discomfort over the emphasis on Savina (which they never seem to like), and the internal disconnection they seem to have with Avina and their differing perceptions of their relationship? Or awkwardness, because I feel like in some POVs Seven seems to be aware of Avina's crush. Because the question's phrasing puts emphasis on Seven *changing* Avina, I feel like it was designed to make Seven feel awkward and put on the spot lol.
