You definitely need the watch the Liam Gallagher as it was documentary after this, it will explain a lot of the lyrics in the album, after oasis he went to some dark places, its a great watch

i get what ur saying about this having a very "safe & normal" sound. Liams third Album is definitely more experimental and has some proper bangers, really looking forward to your reaction .

The reason some of the tracks sound so poppy and polished is because they’re co-written by Greg Kurstin and Andrew Wyatt, professional songwriters that work for Warner Records and have written tracks for Adele, Dua Lipa, Charli XCX and many other mainstream pop atists. On this album the singles were co-written and the album tracks were made by Liam alone, but on future records every song will be co-written. A lot of the tracks will seem like they’re about Noel, partly because it was an easy topic for the professional songwriters to lean into. Funnily enough, with a few exceptions you rated almost all of the tracks Liam wrote by himself in the A-tier and the ones that were co-written in the B-tier.

beady eye is kinda more psychadelic and minimalist at the same time. I don't think in many ways its better than his solo albums but it's pretty interesting as you like to say and as a long time follower of you on here I actually think you would have dug their music

I feel like in most of this album he’s just talking about himself, i think the whole album is based around his character change since oasis or even beady eye and the lyrics are essentially things he’s battled with and thought about during his dark times between the end of oasis and then (when he released this album) Could be wrong but just my view on the album

I never thought For What It's Worth and I've All I Need would be a B tier song. But here we are. But overall, the ranking is alright. Liam's albums are hit and miss. The next album, Why Me? Why Not? is probably his best solo album. It sounds incredible live. Do react to the live albums like MTV Unplugged and Down By the River Thames from Liam. Cant wait for Who Built The Moon? by Noel Gallagher High Flying Birds.
