Sam Houston

The Killers, The Fratellis, Franz Ferdinand, The Lathums would all be great

brayden

Whilst I don’t like nor particularly dislike them, I think it’s only fair Royston club get a go, they get recommended so much. Also think St. Jude by Courteeners would be a sick watch

PizzaPazza

Also: The murder capital. Huge friends of Fontaines DC, they’re just a lot more experimental in their sound

Barry Mcmillan

Suede - known in the US as the London Suede.

Evie Lambert

The last dinner party, Interpol, Florence and the machine, wolf alice, the killers!!

Alex Hall

The Charlatans, tellin stories album

Kasabian 2nd and 3rd albums would bring you up to Velociraptor. A high recommendation from me would be The Tallest Man on Earth, Start with his album "The Wild Hunt".

Jacob White

Spacey Jane, interpol, the police, Bon iver, mkgee, stereophonics

Kiwilainen

Led Zeppelin - Very popular, very influential ok music as a whole. A career of a similar length to the Beatles so it’s a journey without forcing you to commit to 30+ years of albums. Pink Floyd - Experimental, incredibly influential and definitely an artistic progression. It arguably peaks in the middle though. Bowie - Legend, experimental, influential, highly varied from album to album. He has made a shitload though so you’d be commiting to a year+ of reactions. Fleetwood Mac - Definitely a journey, a band where the only constant members were the drummer and bass player which meant that their sound kept shifting everytime they brought on another songwriting member. Not as experimental and ”out there” as some of the other picks Queen - One of the most talented bands of all time, insane amount of classic singles. Does not necessarily have the greatest reputation as an albums band, though this is disputed. U2 - Widely hated, me suggesting this will probably make indie kids groan because of how uncool they are. They have some very influential albums though, Brian Enos production work with them was arguably the single biggest influence on the sound of the 2010s, lots of hit singles. Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby are great records idc what anyone says. Talking Heads - Innovative, quirky, poignant, disturbing and fun. Remain In Light is another Eno production that has been unspeakably influential on the modern music scene.

Adele Kompus

Pink floyd and the beatles solo stuff!

The Music Guy

Led Zeppelin and/or Black Sabbath

Dhar Mann

Would love to see you continue with Queens of the Stone Age - lots of people stop after SFTD but all of their albums are great and I know you are already a fan of Villains which most people consider to be their weakest album. The viewcounts are never great on YT for QOTSA reactions though. Also Led Zeppelin.

Josh

Riley Wigmore

I definitely think Nine Inch Nails would be fun! Incredibly experimental, amazing production, lots of fascinating behind the scenes info about Trent Reznor, and the greatest concept album of all time is the third album in the discography! They can pretty easily be done chronologically with plenty of albums.

Agathe Picart

Turnstile: Glow On & Never Enough

SuperPony

Same, but I feel like he wouldn’t like him since he doesn’t really care about lyrics

SuperPony

Think you should give Bob Dylan a chance although I don’t think he would be your cup of tea as he’s more lyric focused i’d maybe listen to 2 albums of his and if it ain’t working for you, you can just stop there

Mark Hattersley

Carry on with Liam Gallaghers other albums. But for a new band I recommend Stereophonics

lambbhuna

This is probably a controversial one to suggest as they're not a popular band to like at the moment, but I'd be interested to see what you think of Muse's first 4 albums. Kind of a mix of like Radiohead/RATM/Queen and pretty progressive for mainstream 00s rock. They lost their way later on though and their recent stuff is pretty poor so I wouldn't go into their later work.

Derek Dugan

Jellyfish! Only two albums, but classics. Stereophonics, Supergrass and Peter Gabriel also

TheOptimist

Tbh would love to see Kendrick Lamar but it’s defo a genre switch obv

John Gunner
