There aren't any english lyrics, she's singin a blend of words that doesn't make sense in multiple languages

ngl i've never really got into them as my adhd riddled brain needs to know wtf shes saying at least at some part of the songs but im open to try and listen with you here

Nah, she’s definitely saying stuff that makes sense alongside with incoherent nonsense. Band just didn’t transcribe lyrics for the album. Apple Music has lyrics that match (although they’re interpreted by fans and not the band), and Heaven or Las Vegas with those lyrics actually makes sense.

one of my top 5 albums of all time, my adhd brain loves Elizabeth Fraser's voice so much. The Cure's Disintegration is also a favorite of mine, and some songs on "The Moon and the Melodies" by Cocteau Twins feel like a perfect fusion of dour post-punk and dreamy dream pop. "Eyes Are Mosaics" was the first song I ever heard by them, and it's still one of my favorites. Some others are; Evangeline, Sea Swallow Me, Pearly-Dewdrops' Drops, Serpentskirt, and Seekers Who Are Lovers

It's more like shoe-gaze wouldn't have existed without the precursor of Cocteau Twins... they are the sugar in the base shoe-gaze recipe. They are their own thing completely :)

Got this album for Christmas 1990 and listened to it by candlelight on the floor of my friend's apartment. Transcendent.
