SO! Today I want to talk about Chapter 8 - and so rather than cramming too much into one Monday post, the split became natural.

Chapter 7 Feedback: Tell Me What You Thought

It's been a week since Chapter 7 went out, and so far no major bugs have surfaced. That's a huge relief for a release this size, and I want to thank everyone who's been playing and reporting things.

Now that people have had time to actually play it, I want to open the floor. But first, let me tell you what I was actually going for, so you can tell me whether I hit it.

What I was trying to do with Chapter 7

My main goal was more feats of strength. I really leaned into that this time and I hope everyone noticed. If the girls felt casually stronger and showed it more often, that was deliberate, in both dates and random events.

The other big one was more FMG, and FMG inside the story scenes. The biggest complaint about Chapter 6 was that it was too story-focused and didn't feature enough growth. That criticism was fair and it stuck with me. So for Chapter 7 had far more FMG, More date focus, but ALSO more story scenes.

What I was chasing overall was balance: main story, dates, and the girls' personal story scenes all pulling their weight. My hope is that Chapter 7 ends up being the best release so far. (Until chapter 8 dethrones it again muahaha)

What I want to know from you

This is the part I actually need. Please be honest, I can take it:

What worked? Genuinely, tell me what you liked. Specific scenes, specific girls, specific moments. Knowing what landed helps me more than you'd think, and it does a lot for morale on a project this size.

What could have been done better? Pacing, balance, writing, art, anything.

Which girls' stories did you connect with most?

Chapter 8

I'll be upfront: the scope for Chapter 8 isn't fully decided yet. I want to line myself up with the community before I settle on it, because I'd rather build the thing you actually want than guess. This is what made Chapter 7 so good in my opinion.

Chapter 7 was huge, but a lot of that size wasn't story. It included a complete overhaul of the entire game, the UI, and all the art across Chapters 1 through 6. That's not something I'll need to do again, which frees up a lot of room.

PLUS we've talked about it a lot in the Discord but I'm getting help with images in Chapter 8 from Blue♠ who did the remastered Special Serum Scenes, chapter 5 images, and side story images.

Here's where my head is at personally:

Keep the story flowing for all the girls and the main plot. No one gets parked.

New dates, of course.

Harem mode content. Now that harem mode exists, I want to write scenes that actually cater to it instead of it just being a toggle.

Multi-girl scenes. We now have the new StrongGirls model, which is built specifically for multi-girl renders. That opens the door to girl x girl and multi-girl XXX scenes in a way that just wasn't possible before.

That's my instinct. Tell me if it matches yours, or if there's something you'd rather see me spend the time on.

The poll for the October side story is still live and I know that there are many super and ultra voters who haven't voted yet, PLUS you can also change your vote until it closes ;)

Since the side story is for October I will keep the poll alive for another week. After that I will close it and start drafting a story. Currently Akira is winning and well, she's a bit of a blank page so I am curious what you are expecting from this one.

This community is the best. You made this game possible and you will continue to make the StrongGirls universe grow (pun not intended!).

Yes, I believe adding the harem option was a very successful change. During my previous playthroughs, I always felt it would be a shame to have so many capable, strong girl characters without harem story paths. I’m thankful for this new feature.

One thing i dident like in ch7 was to girls grow to big and to me losed there sexyness i think you need to have a mix size growth scenes like the girl take one little sip then grow a little then have sex not always go big a possible then wild sex if get what i mean its ok some times or even have to at there new base size

Also i like to see sora get her own icons and scence since shes getting more involed with the mc so far iv like what your done with her story so far i juat hate have to do mimmie up to get sora content

I’d definitely say all the new stuff worked. The new ui is clean and I greatly appreciate getting an exact count on hearts in order to determine date progress. The little pulsing effects for Fmg scenes are also a really nice touch. I think you made up for the lack of Fmg in the previous chapter in spades, overall I’d say you pretty much achieved the perfect balance of Fmg content and story, and I’m looking forward to where the story’s going. I’d say all but like maybe 2 of the girl stories had perfect follow ups. I’m also loving Karina’s new spotlight I was very excited to see some more Fmg with her in particular. Also really loved the follow ups to naomi and kaori’s stories. My only real “gripes” are just in terms of story. I couldn’t help but feel Hino’s story felt rather underbaked compared to other characters. Though personally I haven’t really been a fan of her character arc just because she lost all her “edge” with making you worship her and stuff (though Manami’s confidence seems to be developing into that so hey not a major loss ig) but I would love some more “crazy” or “evil” girls since everyone’s fairly nice overall. However I do appreciate that you’re adding more antagonists who can buff up in the story. (A return of raven would be really nice id love to see what she’s been up to) One future “concern” with the game I have is just how many characters are achieving permanence. While the buff girls getting buffer is still nice I hope we don’t get a short supply of first timers in the main stories and side stories. (Tbh the concept of a character who isn’t able to achieve permanence and struggling with it sounds like a fun plot idea) All in all you hit it out of the park with this chapter and all your work paid off. Here’s to the next chapter and that rpg thingy you’re teasing.

I definitely agree with you, I'm in it for the muscle growth and strength feats, so seeing more of that in Ch 7 was an absolute blast. I would absolutely love for the trend to continue in future chapters. P.S. I've seen some people complain about the mass monster scenes, and while I'm personally a "can never go too big" kind of person, I can imagine some players are not as comfortable with it. So I'm wondering if you've thought of any solutions for that (e.g. a toggle that caps girl sizes for people who don't want to see hyper-sizes) since it's something that could divide the fanbase.

I would say that I really LOVE when they go mega giga big... but sometimes with the new models is like the start to loose the femeninse aspects, like breasts, or the ass and goes totally full muscle, I dont know if its for the new models or some prompting stuff... sry I just want to add this because I think people would love mega if the girls mantain those femenine features and the mega muscle stuff at the same time, dont know if changing that could be possible or not... but overall, love the game, I was looking for mor fmg or MEGA stuff and this last update got it, more of this is never enough :3

Chapter 7 was brilliant. A huge QOL improvement with Harem mode which really matches my play style. One thing I do hope you expand on in chapter 8 is character depth. You've got a great cast of characters but in terms of their differentiation they seem to be sorting of settling on the most predictable outcome. This isn't a bad thing, but maybe actually having a unique date per character in the next episode could help you shine light on their unique differences and personality traits and *preferences*

i will be doing harem route soon but do i go after all 3 girls from chapter 1 at once or will that give bad ending.

really good overall. The proliferation of the black serum is interesting as is the potential for rehab. i'm not crazy about the male formula so I hope I don't get railroaded into using it later on (sorry Kasumi's kid) and I miss Hino's dommy mommy intensity during her NSFW scenes (i appreciate her character development outside of those scenes, but her first serum dose was peak and I'm glad the harem route and cheats meant I wasn't locked into her). But some people probably loved that stuff, much like how some people don't want the girls to get too big, but I want them to get bigger, scarier, and crazier. I love Manami's assertiveness and I hope Karina and Minori continue to get monstrous :3

I’ve run into an issue while playing the harem route. No matter how I plan my progression, I keep getting warning signs that the three heroines are about to break things off with me. It feels like the time pressure in the early‑game is far too tight. I’m not sure if this is caused by my own mis‑management. Even when I spend every single daytime block with them, I still receive two separate messages from them that eventually lead to the later break‑up conditions triggering.
