In 2016 I was adamant that the "idk, not trump tho" meme meant VOTE FUKKIN HILLARY CLINTON, but c'mon Democrats. If you want to be the not-Trump option, please just like... don't act like his followers. Reason #5796 why I'll never consider myself a Democrat. ):

I don't get the DNC's fear of progress and something better than going back to being moderates or moderate conservatives rather than being Democrats and being on the left. At this point, socialists and left leaning Democrats should make their own party like the "New Democrats" or "Social Democratic Party" so we can stop having rapists/conservative candidates that say they are "Democratic"

Another airlock can be made by securing a hose to the opening of the jug (putting it through a plug, wrapping it up with a good air-tight wrap), and then putting the other end of the hose in a cup with some water in it, so the CO2 from fermentation can leave that way. Biggest enemy in fermentation is oxygen, so if you keep it pretty sealed off, and exercise similar caution when handling the juice/sugar as you would when going out in public (masks not necessary), you shouldn't have contamination either!
