Making your own beer is easy and fun! If anyone wants to get started, I'd be happy to point people to resources that can help them get started with a great hobby! The only downside is that it takes about a month from brew day to being able to drink it (unless you get some extra equipment) but you can have 1-5 gallons of at least decent beer very easily!

Quick question about Covid-19 in the States - did you home the homeless during your lock downs (or whatever you call it - shut ins??)? Just trying to work out why your system hasn't worked? Did you actually stop people moving around the country? Have you lost the hope that anything can be done now and it's just Covid for All (rather than medi-care or whatever)? To pep yourselves up - just say you are doing the Swedish method, so it seems like it's all been done on purpose.

Did we home the homeless during the lock down???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Hell no! This is America! Those damn bootless homeless people can pull themselves up by their bootstraps. I dont know if we've lost hope things will be ok, but many of us have lost hope that our current leaders will do the right thing. It seems like everyone's waiting for the election in November.

Sorry to hear that. I'm shocked really that so many of your elected officials are just accepting it - that people are going to get a virus and 2% (or whatever) will die. What part of making America great again does this fall under? I can only imagine that if/when a vaccine is created that it won't be given out for free either.

edit: I tried to answer, but I can't actually do paragraphs here, and the short answer is "we're pretty fucked up and have way too many preconceptions about What America Is." I think we want to see ourselves as pioneers/iconoclasts, and way too often that means we decide to be REALLY MAD about stuff like "vaccines," "basic preventive measures against a pandemic," and "common fucking human decency." I think most Americans don't subscribe to this point of view at all; the problem is that it only takes a handful of idiots to absolutely wreck public health measures.
