Looking forward to reading Chris's book! I got broadsided in my passenger side door fifteen years ago or so by a dude who was on his cell phone. The window just exploded and for a second I didn't know what happened. He was almost crying and asked me please don't call the police. The Chicago po-po. He was a young black man, so you bet your behind I wasn't going to call the cops. They will gladly escalate any situation to a much higher level than it needs to be. His car was still drivable because it was one of those big 'ol sedans, with bumpers as almost as thick as Giuliani's skull. I hated my job, it was about an 80 mile round trip to and fro. He was okay, I was okay, so I told him to take off and promise to NEVER use his cell phone again unless he was seated in a comfy chair. He promised. He was a student at a top ten University located on Lake Michigan in Illinois, and I worked at the same place. He was a nice kid who made a mistake, and he accidentally gave me freedom from a job I despised. Katy, Dr. Mister Mister Cody and Chris, promise me you'll never use your cel phone again unless you're in the passenger's seat or seated in a comfy chair. LOL, ha ha ha ha, or however people express mirth online these days.
