I can think of two times in modern film history where a studio has told the director "sure, do whatever you want" and those are Gremlins 2 (1989) and House (1977) and both are the greatest movie ever.

Dr. Mr. Cody, is your merch the most fuckable merch? Love you guys! I'm not a stalker, honest.

I was beginning to wonder why antitrust laws weren't getting brought up about all these mergers. I don't care if the media is eventually the Touchstone Empire (having now been both WB and Disney, the two great houses merge into the Roger Rabbit cinematic universe) as long as they don't delete and/or shelve shit. Don't do crimes against art, even if it is just Nickelodeon cartoons that meant a lot to some people.

That was Stephen King, not John Irving in the photo in the publishing segment... was that intentional?

A lot of this could have been avoided at the start if the _Paramount_ decision - prohibiting the ownership of movie production studios and movie displaying theaters by the same company - had been applied to the digital realm from the beginning, vis-a-vis media production and streaming services. Something to consider. (Maybe ask Legal Eagle about.)

Oh Damn, Gremlins 2: The New Batch! On the night before the night, at Century 22, across from the Winchester Mystery house, when I was nine hehe. Legendary premiere! Like I'm pretty sure there was a legit red carpet with stanchions and everything lol. Live forever - Eat after midnight!!!
