The fact that Tammy 2 is terrified of Tammy 1 is bone-chilling

i find myself randomly singing '5,000 candles in the wind' fairly often, even when i haven't watched this ep in a long time lol

Have you guys ever seen Detlef Schrempf highlights? He's in this show because of his time with the Pacers, but he's more famous for his time with the Sonics right after this. Really great player, and in many ways was ahead of his time, his style is more similar to today's game and he's one of the first Europeans to become a star in the NBA. His Sonics team, along with Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton faced the 96 Bulls team in the finals, the first one of Jordan's second three peat.

Like I mentioned in the livechat, quite possibly my fave episode of the whole show, just perfection start to finish. Yeah, when you suggested Li'l Sebastian might die in his first appearance, it was hard to hold my tongue and not spoil this ep yet. Funny that two characters put on faux-British accents in this episode - Leslie as Maggie Thatcher in the roleplay (Ben was being Ronald Reagan, BTW) and Tom with an even less convincing accent in the funeral video voice-over. A little sad you cut out Jean-Ralphio's hilarious 'the cow from the video' line. Very typical of him to not even get the species right! Without wanting to get too political, in today's climate with all sorts of seedy scandals around actual heads of state it's quite insane to think that an affair between two consenting adults would be a dealbreaker to hold political office on such a fairly low local level, even taking into account the fact one of them would technically be the other's superior in the workplace. Maybe it's specific to the uber-traditional values of a midwestern small town like Pawnee?

5000 candles in the wind is one of my favorite moments in the show. Great performance

Jamie

Same. They do a great job editing, but I really need to hear the whole song so I can sing along.

It’s on Apple Music! I’m not sure where else but if you can find the mouserat album it’s on there

Jean-Ralphio is the gift that gives a lot in a little then slinks away before overstaying it's welcome

Leslie is sleeping with her boss. That's the definition of a scandal
