the “devo, whip it” joke ben made at the beginning of the episode was a reference to the song “whip it” by devo. if you hear the first 10 seconds of that song you’ll probably know it :) i was so upset with april in this episode! but she did redeem herself at the end for me. i loved that scene. but i was still so annoyed she did that 😭 tom recommending chris go to therapy was so impactful and has the potential to give chris so much character development!

Yeah I don’t get why April did that, things are hard enough for Ben as it is! Yeah that was great from Tom, exactly what Chris needed!

Government forcing its will on citizens via punitive taxation...👎👎👎👎👎 Big Food ruining people's health via misleading and incomplete labeling...👎👎👎👎👎 Individuals allowed to make their own choices based on complete and accurate information...👍👍👍👍👍 Ann & Leslie's motives 👍 Ann & Leslie's methods 👎

It seems April is still in a transition phase of being professional while trying to keep her old "i don't care about anything" identity. With Ben (her roommate for a while now) bringing her with him, she assumed she could bring "old her" into the new role she has, and it would be okay. I think she thought the teasing would be funnier to Ben, not quite realizing the gravity of the job they have, and how serious "Work Ben" takes this job.

I love how the show pokes fun of the American love affair with junk food. That 128 oz giant soda cup is not that far off from the truth 😂.

Andy getting into shape parallels Chris Pratt getting in shape for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Nikki_KnotDoneYet

That moment where she kisses him on the nose is hysterical!

sarina

yes!! i wouldn’t be surprised if Aubrey improved that because it was so funny 😂

Julie A

The bloopers for the last scene with April and Ellis are funny!
