Thank you for using fluent English and saying “giving me x vibes” instead of the Gen Z “it’s giving.” Genuinely thank you.

The Republican Guard is the "Iraqi" Republican Guard. It was a branch of the iraqi military under Sadaam Hussein.

GOT probably my all time fav show even with the flopped ending. Lost might be my number 2👀 Haven’t watched this in year though and forget a lot of it so excited to watch along with yall!

DN Reacts

It’s sad that so many people suffered on both sides because of the actions of a few people.

This show came along before social media but was the first show that really hooked people in terms of message board conversations. I used to frequent LOST-TV (and was briefly a moderator before realizing that job sucked), and still have friends I met on those boards.

"Guys... where are we?" was the big line in the promos for this show when they first started advertising it, as you might expect. Also, I could have sworn y'all had watched Taken on the channel, but I didn't find it in the backlog. If either of you have ever seen it, or if you ever do eventually, Shannon plays Liam Neeson's daughter in those films.

3 years and 11 days from 9/11 to the pilot episode and yes, unfortunately the Islamophobia was *rampant* (and hatred/fear toward anyone who even appeared to be Middle Eastern - very difficult times)

As others have said between the different posts this was one of the first watercooler shows, especially one that wasn't on HBO. Looking back at it this show was better than we gave it credit for, although I'll never apologize for criticizing Damon L or JJ Abrams. For any of their work. It's remarkable that you could have made it 20 years without knowing spoilers but good thing you did. So much of Lost is just part of the zeitgeist now that people don't even think about accidentally weaving references in. I do pretty routinely. You're probably like halfway into the season by now but still.

Lol, Damo it's: If the bear is black, fight back. If the bear is brown, lie down. If the bear is white, say good nite.

So enjoying re-watching this with you gents. Both versions: uncut and cut. That’s how much I love LOST😆

Ah, I. hoped they’d get to make their own judgement on the ending. Many people liked it.

Zach VanDyke

They did make their own judgement they just agreed the ending seasons weren’t great. which they weren’t. they still loved the show overall.

Perry Taliaferro

I agree, why split a pilot into two episodes, it doesn't make sense. Soooo, seeing as how we all agree that doing such things are a bad practice, it shouldn't be done, can we expect another episode of LOST from you guys today... as this second reaction should have been included in your first reaction? ;)

Weird Magic

The Series finale is a 9.2 on IMDB....the issue with the ending (IMO) is that it is a HEAVILY serialized show...and the final season had 9-10 million viewers per episode, and the finale had 15 million. So there were 5 million people who skipped almost everything in a serialized show and then complained about not getting the ending. VERY few reactors don't get and/or like the ending....very very few, and I think I've seen almost everybody that has finished so far.

Zach VanDyke

Not sure if you’re referring to GOT or Lost but I was referencing GOT. I actually love the Lost ending and have no complaints.

Lee

I watched every episode twice then went on lost message boards.... I would spend hours on there. Good times

zammmerjammer

I mean... The X-Files was really the first to do that.

JULIE

Fun to watch this after 22 years. I think I only made it through 4 seasons so will be interesting to see what happens

Bunny

You won't regret it!!

Quan Allen

A little fun detail. The first time you see Kate she’s rubbing on her wrist which was probably irritated from the handcuffs.
