Panda Express is a Chinese food chain that is pretty...not Chinese! It gave us one of my favorite Rick and Morty lines: "I got dinner from Panda Express." "Did you get sugar chicken?" "Duh...that's like all they have."

This is one of my favorite episodes I loved Frank and the first time I watched this and watched what Phil did to honor Frank’s legacy had tears streaming. Also at the time this episode aired Fred Willard (Frank) was alive but he passed a few months later.

hey! what do you mean it's not chinese? :D when i was in the us, almost the only thing i ate was panda express, i don't remember was kung pao my favourite or what but when i tried that in finland (our chinese restaurants are usually made by chinese people but i have no idea how close the food is to actual chinese!) it was like a whole different meal!! :( i could not taste one single same flavor as was in the meal i had in the US XD i thought it can't only be because of different ingredients in different countries, i believe it was just something completely different with the same name :D so now i am wondering if neither is what kung pao would actually taste like in china, and which one was more close to "the correct one" ....
