Doom and despair (Patreon)

I just heard that Direct2Digital is in the process of acquiring Smashwords. I have books on D2D, and the that site SUCKS. Also, they are worse than Amazon about blocking books. This might kill a big chunk of my income, since Smashwords will accept really nasty content, and D2D won't. I worry they will not only stop accepting my books, but block the existing books.

We'll see. Maybe the deal won't go thru. Maybe they'll allow Smashwords to continue operating independantly. Only time will tell. Right now, I prefer to focus on worse case scenarios. One of my many charms.
