Dev update 18/09/24 (Patreon)

Hi folks,

Just a brief update to let you know where things are at the moment.

Episode 25: Cell has finished artwork for the first scene (except for animations) and we plan on starting the second scene this week. (Artwork only - not script). I do not have an ETA for when episode 25 will be finished as it's too early in the process and also (as mentioned previously) will depend on how the team expansion goes. (More people = shorter development time).

Re-do: This week will be a bit boring as far as updates go, as I'm working on updating the GUI / menus, etc., including stuff like the start any episode and gallery pages (getting rid of those awful scroll bars, etc.) and also doing some music & SFX research. This week, I also plan on completing two of the final four scenes left for the re-do, and also re-doing some of the artwork for a couple of scenes that I wasn't happy about. I am still aiming for November for a Steam release.

I also plan on putting together a frequently asked questions page, so people can refer to that. I find myself spending a lot of time answering DMs with the same questions, so I'm hoping having an FAQ section will help. So if you have any questions that you would like to see answered there, please let me know (via the comments below or via DM).

Also, I want to get final feedback on a few items, so keep an eye out for polls. There will be a few and some of them may be for what some might consider minor items, so feel free to ignore if you're not interested, but if you have the time, please partake as all feedback is greatly appreciated.

And I just want to share a sample of some WTHI inspired fantasy artwork created by Centurion. As per my previous post, Centurion has been working with me on editing / proof-reading the re-do script, and although he hasn't been involved in any WTHI artwork yet, he has some great DAZ skills (DAZ is the software / app we use to create our artwork), so just wanted to share some fan-art he created. I'll post more of these soon (in addition to the monthly 4Ks). The theme is Goddess Katie!
