Hi folks,

As the title suggests, my current (and only focus) at the moment is on finalizing Season 1 for Steam. I have put in a release date for the 18th November to have the FINAL season 1 completed and released on Steam. Although art and script are 99% done, I still have a LOT of work to do (mostly play-testing, error-checking and adding music / sfx and some Steam readiness work, plus improving some of the artwork) over the next four weeks. It'll be 7x 16hr days every week between now and then and things will still be tight. Centurion is officially helping me out with script / edits / tweaks / polish, while Cell is spending 90% of his time on episode 25 (while also jumping in on improving some Season 1 animations). See some episode 25 teasers below...

I mentioned last month that for this month, I hoped to release a finalized (with music, SFX, improved GUI) chapter 1 demo at the start of the month (delivered) and also a Season 1 (pretty much completed version) at the end of this month. But because I have so much riding on the steam release (literally my whole livelihood, now that I've quit my job) and because of the 100% likelihood that any Patreon release will be pirated, I have decided to hold off on any further Patreon releases of Season 1 until I release on Steam. I will be offering Steam keys (free) to specific Patreon patron tiers (and some lower tier long term supporters) before then, and I still need to figure out a plan for those that do not want to use Steam (understandably) and I do NOT expect Patrons to switch to Steam and I do not expect patrons to double-pay (i.e. pay on Patreon AND steam). Just to be clear, Season 1 WILL be released on Patreon... just not before it hits Steam.

So... because I'm all about Steam for the next few weeks and you Patreon folks won't be getting as much love as you deserve this month (and the first half of next month), I wanted to let you know that I am happy to oblige anybody who wants a refund this month. So, if any of you feel at all unsure / disgruntled / annoyed at this plan, please, please send me a DM and I'll refund you 100% with no arguments / quibbles and no hard feelings. Please don't be a silent / meek disgruntled customer. If you want a refund, ask and you will receive!!! And similarly, if you miss this message and end up inadvertently subscribed for next month (and aren't happy with the message), I'll also offer a refund for anyone next month too. You folks have kept me going over the past 6+ years, so just wanted say a big THANKS to every one of you that have given me the opportunity to take this gamble and make an attempt at being a full-time dev. Thank you!

Also, because I usually do the 4K images myself, I am going to cancel them this month and continue focusing on Season 1. (another reason to ask for a guilt-free refund! ).

Please let me know any comments / questions /inputs below (or send me a DM) and I'll get back to everyone.

Thanks,

CG

Since we would be getting Steam keys as well, i'm all good, glad i dont have to double dip. Looking forward to release of Seaon 1

tezster

Strategically speaking, I wouldn't release any further "season one" content on Patreon until the new year at the earliest.

Voridor

Completely understandable. I also agree with @tezster, in that you should consider holding off on releasing "season one" content on Patrean a bit longer than just the release. In my personal opinion, I absolutely have no problem separately purchasing the Steam version as a show of support.l for you and your work on the great game that you have built (are building). Wish you the best of luck over the course of the next several weeks and with the Steam release!

MasterSav

I have nothing against your plan and just go for it, but the Steam version can as easily be "shared" as the patreon version. Nonetheless marketing-wise it makes sense.

Refund Re-shmund! I'm funding the development, not paying for a release. Keep up the good work! I don't plan on playing the Steam version, though I am very excited for the release on that platform and hope it does very well! Also I agree with some others. I am willing to wait a week or so after Steam release for a Patreon release if it means minimizing pirating and giving your game a chance to succeed on Steam! Though I'd imaging there are many others who would want it the same time.

Lionheart

Hold it right there! Stopping any payment is not needed! Your words and the Care you so often provide to your Followers is known to all of us! We know this is you taking a huge leap into a world of uncertainty Just jump in, we will still be here. Though having a 4k of each girl would Put F95 people in a frenzy for more of your art. Jump on there and say hi to them the thread Loves you and yours. Its where I found your game to Follow. do an Advent to Steam and maybe a render just for them.

Just speaking as someone who mostly lurks Patreon (I tend to back low tiers for someone I want to encourage but generally only 'catch up' periodically on the content delivered) that I also tend to just outright buy the Steam versions /despite/ having given monthly to that developer. I like the convenience of having it in my Steam account, and it's a way to encourage Patreon games to also release there. Hope this launch goes well for you!

I already said that doing no release before Steam was the way to go, so nothing bad about that. As usual, with the offer to not pay Patreon this month, you continue to stay classy. Cheeky. Kudos to you as always.

Yeah it may rub some people the wrong way but for your financial security (and the future of the project) yeah I'd second holding off on a full Patreon Season One until January. You've got the US Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays to capture eyes and interest while people are on break so hopefully with that timing the launch will be a hit! Good to see some Bella scenes to remind people she's a valid path even after the recent revelations!

Shut up and take my money; #monica.

Calimachus

Typical, in Germany it can't be bought on Steam, not available in this country. Are there plans to publish it f.e. on GOG?
