Dev update 2nd December 2024 (Patreon)

Hi folks,

Let me start by saying thanks to ALL of you for the continued patronage, all of the support as we finally got Season 1 released and all of the patience wile Episode 25 was on hold. THANK YOU!

Season 1 Android version (Ignore if you don't play on Android)

I have uploaded the android (apk file) version of season 1. It can be found in the same download links that I previously sent out for the MAC / PC versions. Remember, the android port is not developed by me, it's from a third-party, so it is not officially endorsed / approved by me and I cannot help out with any technical difficulties. The third-party person who developed it states that you should delete any previous version installed before installing the new version.

Episode 25

Episode 25 is now our current priority and will remain our # 1 priority until it is complete. This will be the first time since I started WTHI where I don't have a full-time job, so I can focus fully on writing (and doing art for) an original episode with no distractions, so I expect things to move along nicely. Episode 25 will also be Cell's #1 priority over the next few months. Other than to say it will be released in 2025, it is too early to estimate when we'll have it complete. However, once I get a few weeks of dedicated time working on it, I should have a better feel for an estimated date, so I'll try to be a bit more specific regarding a date in one of my January updates.

Episode 25 WILL be the last episode and will close out the main game. Once complete there will probably be a few small epilogue releases to close out some scenes for some minor characters, or to potentially show a non-canon "fantasy" scene for some character combos that may not be possible to achieve in the main game.

But for the "Main game", episode 25 will be the final full episode, and any epilogues will be quite short.

To close off everything, episode 25 will be quite a long episode (I expect it to be THE longest episode of the game). Please skip the following section if you do not want any details of what's coming in episode 25 or if you haven't already completed episodes 1-24 of the original game.

 Here is an approximate plan for what I (currently) expect for episode 25.

Characters who WILL appear:

Monica, Jenna, Katie, Zarah, Angel, Wanda, Lily, Debbie, Jolina, Bella, Elaine, Natasha, Theresa.

By the end of episode 25, all of the inheritance items will be closed off, plus all / any romance paths with the above ladies will be resolved, i.e. you will know which lady (or different combos of ladies) you will continue to romance. All revenge plans (if any) will also be resolved. There will NOT be a scene where ALL 13 of these ladies appear together as some girls / combos have been mutually exclusive throughout and will remain so. Although there will be SOME new meetings (and greetings : ) ) between some ladies who haven't met previously.

Previously, we have shown every day in sequence over the past 24 episodes, but for episode 25, in order to wrap things up properly (and maybe get a glimpse of married life or potential pregnancies), I do expect a flash-forward to occur in the latter half of the episode.

Featuring 13 women (and different combos of these 13) is already a large undertaking, so unfortunately, the following characters are NOT currently planned to appear in episode 25:

Porsche, Captain heart, Bubbles, Evie, Mabel.

 If there is demand, then they will feature in epilogue scenes, once episode 25 is complete, but at the moment, I don't think they were big enough characters to warrant a place in episode 25. To try to trim things further, I did consider moving Natasha and Theresa into this category too, but I think those two DO deserve to be in episode 25. These are all provisional plans, and are subject to change, so let me know if you think I'm getting something majorly wrong.

That's probably enough of an info dump for now. I'll post some new episode 25 teaser images in next week's update, but I'll leave you with these two...
