Original Game Links

Remember: The original game artwork is lower quality (compared to the current artwork), but it improves exponentially as the episodes progress. For full quality (including music and sfx) and high-quality art, the re-do / upgraded version is the place to go. The original game is completed (25 episodes) while the re-do is still in development (Season 1 is complete, Season 2 is being worked on)

Only one download is required (i.e. the episode 25 version contains ALL episodes from 1-25, so it is the FULL game.)

FAQ (Frequently asked questions):

Q: Why are their two versions of the game and what are they?

A: The two versions of the game are the Original game and the re-do (also known as the upgraded / Steam version). Even though the re-do is referred to as the "Steam" version, it is not exclusive to Steam, it is available on Patreon too.

The Original game:

The original game began development around 2017 and as of December 2025, it is now complete with episode 25. Episode 25 is the last episode and will close out the main game. There will be some small epilogues after episode 25 as bonus content or to close out some minor character's stories, including those characters that didn't feature in episode 25.

Re-do (upgrade / Steam version):

Because the artwork in the original game's earlier episodes was very dated (by today's standards), in order to bring it up to a quality level good enough for a Steam release, we had to re-do ALL of the art. This was a massive under-taking, but we finally finished Season 1 of the re-do / upgrade in November 2024 and released Season 1 on steam.

Season 1 contains a full upgrade of the first TEN episodes of the original game, plus a lot of extra content (scene extensions and many, many new scenes).

Season 2 continues the upgraded story (from original episodes 11 to episode 17) and was released in August 2026. Although we refer to the re-do as the "Steam" version, please note that it WILL be available on Patreon too. There will be an additional two seasons, both of which will be released in 2027.

Q: Who is "the team"? 

A: Currently (August 2026, the team consists of me (CheekyGimp), Cell and Centurion.

Centurion joined the team (part-time) in November 2024 and provided the majority of the artwork for the Angel / Wanda scenes in episode 25, in addition to some writing. He also complete additional writing, tweaks and editing to Seasons 1 and 2.

Cell has been with the team since 2020 and is the primary artist. In addition to working on WTHI, he also has his own Patreon page and his own games, which you can find here: https://www.patreon.com/c/cellstudios

CheekyGimp: I'm the creator / developer of the game. I'm the writer, coder (I try) and secondary artist for the game.

We also have two animators, who aren't officially part of the team, but we sub-contract out a lot of our animations to them.

Q: What is the current priority / What are you working on?

A: As of now (August 2026), we have recently finished Season 2, and will be starting work immediatley on Season 3. We will also be completing a WTHI epilogue (based AFTER the events of the orginal game episode 25) and will also be starting a new game.

I also want to add the in-built walkthrough to Season 1 and look at translation options for both Season 1 and Season 2.

Q: Can I use my Season 1 saves with the original game? (OR vice versa).

A: No. Save games are not compatible between the original game and the re-do, because the two game have so many differences.

Q: Can I transfer my save data from Season 1 to Season 2.

Yes, you will be able to import Season 1 data into Season 2 and continue your adventrue exactly where you left off (stats / scored and decisions will be carried over into season 2). Please ensure you are using the latest version of Season 1 for your exports.

Q: I have played Season 1 & 2. How do I continue the game?

A: You can either wait until Season 3 is released in early 2027... OR you can play the original game (lower quality graphics / art) and use the "Start any episode" to play from episode 17 onwards.

Q: Is WTHI a FULL Harem game?

A: If by FULL harem, you mean the MC finishing the entire game, still dating ALL women, with all women knowing about it and happy with it, then there answer is NO. A Full Harem will not be possible. However the MC can end the game still dating a LOT of the women. Some will know about each other, some may not. But some girls just aren't compatible to allow you to date ALL of them, so some combinations will not work, so there will be some choices to make. But please do not assume the game will force you into a single girl / solo route, this is not the case. You will NOT have to choose only one woman.

The reason for the no-FULL harem is because WTHI is a game about choices / compatibility / risk versus reward and paying attention to what the ladies have been telling you (and in some cases, trying to convince them to change their minds). To end episode the full game with ALL women suddenly agreeing to sharing MC with ALL other women, just wouldn't make sense, and would make a lot of the choices / gameplay redundant.

However... now that episode 25 is completed... we will create some non-canon "fantasy" epilogues to give you a chance to play out a scene or two with some girl combos that were not possible in the main game.
