Due to the subtitle-heavy nature of this comic, Scary Go Round Destroy History NEMS pts 2& 3 (1968) (2025) by John Allison needed a new cover that would emphasise an unearned simplicity on the shelf when sold. The covers I did for the PDFs were too dense to get the 1968 title on (I've included them both in the back of the book). The compromise candidate is shown below - I am pleased with it. Though I will have to put my name on it somewhere, despite the inevitable drag that will have on sales.

That’s why you need an overly marketable pen name to shake up the market

That might have worked a couple of years ago. One worries how the name "Vance" is perceived around the world these days.

It's almost a Peter Max background! Groovy, man!

Vance Daily is dead. His books will now be written by Chance DuFresne.

If that name doesn't say "Best Seller" I don't know what does

The beautiful, classical symmetry of four digits, four letters, four characters, and one giant floating head... and also two of the characters are robots. I think Carpaccio made use of a similar composition.

Might I suggest having your name legally changed to Jim Lee? Then you can pretend you're Stan Lee's grandson.

Or Leapy Lee?

Amazing! Cilla's face kinda remind the huge one of the Wizard of Oz in the old movie. Just cuter.

Patrick M Fitzgerald

You could try Michael Brian Bendis, Brian Michael's unacknowledged twin.
