I have a convention in a few weeks so it's time to make a new vinyl roller banner. I threw my last one in a skip on the way out of the sole event it was used at (2018). No regrets.

Anyway, I resolved this time to design something I would not regret making from almost the second I sat in front of it. Sadly, i was unable to make something like that. This is what I made instead:

I'm absolutely SURE this one is a keeper!

You may have missed a key hand-holding opportunity there. It’s not every day…

Pete Ashton

It's a keeper, for sure.

Commissions Open(Commissions Closed) goes hard

Mark Kirwan

John this is beautiful, you have captured the essence of the convention

Let's just say, a bullet that slow-moving, even I can dodge.

Brian Perler

You should totally put that on a T-shirt. 😉

scarygoround

I just think something vital inside has cracked

Sean Kinlin

And now we know how tall the other characters are, compared to you! Not that I know how tall you are - I've met you twice in person, but you were seated on both occasions.

Sean Kinlin

Your smile does look a bit strained, there.

Mark Turetsky

Could the reader of the "book read backwards" have been expecting some manner of Manga? And then the book is replaced in shame and embarrassment.

Brian Ward

Inserting yourself into famous and/or niche photos or album covers is perhaps the natural conclusion of your crossover works

At risk of being what the kids call a “basic bih”, someday I would love to see a James Bond style banner with yourself flanked by Shelley and Des in appropriate attire. “John Allison: International Man of Mystery” has a certain ring to it, no?

William Cole

Farewell, Golf Des, we hardly know you.

Luke Drotos

That usually happens to all who meet the real Claire Little

Imagine if it was instead the “Yesterday and Today” cover

Chris J. Zähller

The only thing I would change is to use proper title case (lowercase definite articles and short prepositions unless they are the first or last word in the line) or plain sentence case.

scarygoround

I wanted to do that but couldn't get it quite straight in my head, I was never sure what proper title case rules were.

N. Forsythe

This is a beautiful poster, and extremely pertinent. Because I have some very important O.C. O.C. that I would like you to draw, specifically chapters 23 and 26 of my crossover fan-fiction in which Desmond goes back in time to prevent Melissa from committing suicide and also to make out with Seth (**SEASON 3 SPOILERS**)

Steve Jeffery

Ooh, I rather like it. Put it this way, if you can't stand to see it ever again come Thought Bubble Sunday I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands.

Ross Webster

This is an incredible poster John! I really hope some of these wholesome con-related bangers actually get set to music!

glenn

A Fine Banner, but Desmond could still have been lurking on the side, if only just playing through.

Cherenkov

Alas, John is *not* available in life-like stereo at conventions! Will this technology ever become available?
