This week I am writing Steeple 18, so here's the cover. I'm trying some different things with these covers because I think that is legitimate. It's not like they will ever appear on any shelf.

This one features all the chillwave notions that you love. I hope you enjoy my nutty sky gradients and surf Maggie. What is this issue about? You will have to wait a while to find out.

I'm at the point where production is quite a way ahead, but there will be significant interruptions to my webcomic-making in the coming months so I'm trying to steal the best march I can on those... without exhausting myself in the process. My current status is, alas, dangerously close to "exhausted".

Wow! This is a knockout cover

Brian Perler

Great cover, very psychedelic 60s. But don't burn yourself out! It's easier to accept a lull in comics than to find out you worked yourself to a breaking point.

Jessica Lauren

Love this! Makes up for this morning’s sewage release on my beach. Can’t wait to see what this storyline brings, and I’ll so be after a surf Maggie poster/print if such a thing ever happens 💙 look after yourself JA

Very groovy cover John! I'm kind of expecting the Yellow Submarine to show up here. Definitely take a well deserved rest!

Alaric Shapli

It's a wonderful cover. And, yes, as others have said, please take a rest. We'll be okay with a break when you need one.

Tania Arvanitidis

maggie reminds me a little bit of animal from the muppets here. i mean this in the best way possible. her little face made me do an actual out-loud laugh at my desk. thanks for making these comics john

Pierpaolo Di Camillo

Such a beautiful cover with delicate colors... I have no idea what the story will be like, but I kinda hope those two girls are the secret daughters of Brian and Tom.

Rob Cottingham

Some household drama at this end (kids! wisdom teeth! a misbehaving mole, plucked from my face!) has kept me away from the Patreon apart from occasional glances, and I completely missed this. The composition on this cover is fabulous, and as Pierpaolo says, the palette is just lovely. I'll be swiping this one for my inspiration file.
